Signs of teething?

Anyone else's LO's experiencing signs of teething yet? I believe we are but I'm a FTM but I could be wrong. Lol.
-drooling puddles! Soaking through clothes
-sticking anything and everything into her mouth
-up a couple extra times a night

Do you mommas have any tips or tricks for teething babes?

Yes!! Little guy started drooling a ton a couple weeks ago and we thought maybe he was teething but he's still so young. Low and behold a little tooth poked through yesterday. He's definitely been more cranky in the evenings and not sleeping as well. And is tough because he's not able to pick things up to chew on for himself yet besides his hands. We just rub his gums for him. I also filled a soothie with breastmilk and froze it for him to chew on which seems to help :)

  • I will definitely try the soothie. I felt her guns and so far, I don't see or feel anything but with all of the signs I think we are close it a tooth!

Gum massages with the silicone finger toothbrush thing, lots of fresh air going on walks outside, or just sitting outside on the front porch in her bouncer chair seems to help! She's also constantly wearing a bib to avoid doing tons of extra laundry with wet clothes :) with all her extra saliva, she was starting to get a bit of a diaper rash so I've started putting Vaseline or coconut oil on at every diaper change instead of just night time

edited to add that I give Tylenol before bedtime as well as in the middle of the night before her feeding and it prevents the extra night time wake-ups so she's not waking up in pain
  • I will give those a shot thank you!
  • How long have you noticed it takes between symptoms beginning and actually feeling the start of a tooth?
  • My sons dad thought i was crazy when i told him he's starting teething. While it hasnt broken thru his two top front teeth are showing clearly thru the gum. And he's been really moody with a super wet and spitty mouth lately
  • DD's signs started maybe a week ago. Before that she was drooling like any other baby but all of the sudden! BAM! We were soaking through onesies and sleepers with drool. Last night she has a rough night due to her belly. Ended up with two mucusy bloody diapers that she had a hard time passing.... Evidently that's due to the increase in saliva.
  • Two teeth just came fully through the gum on my guy and he's not even 4 months yet! Good luck cause he has been super cranky
  • My little guy just turned 4 months and is drooling like crazy, chewing on his hands and just want to be held :/ poor baby. I gave him Tylenol tonight to see if it would help him...
