What's your favorite?
We have a Moby wrap, which we have used a few times, a sash Mai Tai, which LO doesn't like right now, and a ring sling, which I can't figure out lol. I really want a Tula but they are way too expensive. I've joined. baby wearing FB group and plan on going to a meet up to try others and learn how to use the sling.

I have an ergo and mei tai (both easy for me) plus a moby (sometimes I have issues with wrapping.) I think the ergo is my favorite but I do interchange them. Right now I'm just wearing him around the house. Once it warms up, I'll wear him out.

Have a solly wrap and love it! Don't have experience with others but I hear it's comparable to moby but the fabric is a lot lighter

I have a Boba wrap, which I had really wanted but honestly I find it to be a pain to deal with and get it perfectly situated. I'll probably practice with it more and use it more in the future.

i have a k'tan, which I really like. It's a lot easier to put on and baby feels snug. I also just got one from Seven Slings (had a coupon for a free one from a parenting magazine), and while it's definitely the simplest one yet to use, it doesn't seem great for long periods of time because the weight isn't evenly distributed. It makes my back hurt after a little while (and baby is only 8.5 lbs), but it's great for wearing her while doing the dishes or something.

for going out, I have the Boba 4G. It's ridiculously expensive but so worth it! I could walk around with her for hours in it without getting tired or sore, and she seems really comfy too. I like that it's adjustable so my husband can wear her, and it transitions to a back carrier when she gets bigger.

I have used the moby wrap around the house and my ergo with the infant insert out and about. Kylie seems to like both just fine

I'm a crazy baby wearer with more carriers than babies. My absolute favorite is our little frog ring sling super easy in and out for the toddler and nb.
I have a water wrap and a wrapsody breeze which were my first carriers, I loved them at the time but now they need a new home.
My woven wraps are a little frog and lenny lamb, I prefer how soft the lenny is.
Then we have 3 soft structured carriers, a Onya which has been awesome for hikes and two lenny lambs.

Between baby wearing and cloth diapers, I could buy all the things!! I'm looking forward to going to the meet up and trying multiple types of carriers.

I wasn't a big baby wearer with DS1 because he didn't like it much but now with two kiddos I have been wearing DS2 in my Ergo. So far so good! He falls asleep in it right away and it is pretty comfy and seems secure.

I have a ring sling which I loved for my toddler, I didn't use it much when she was an infant, but now with two I plan on using it more for the infant when out and about so I still have hands free. We traveled to Ireland just before our daughter was 2 and the ring sling was so convenient! I couldn't imagine using a different carrier as its light and breathable and adjustable.

I used a baby Bjorn and a seven sling for my son. Neither really did it for me. He outgrew the baby Bjorn quickly, and also, he spit up in it. How the F do you clean it?! The seven sling had a lot of fabric and I felt like he got lost in it.

Now, my best friend made me a DIY Woven Wrap that we use daily. It took me a couple attempts to get the wrap correct, but once you've done it once, you've got it. The baby is asleep the second she is up, I have both hands again, and it distributed the weight well (I have severe back problems and it doesn't bother me). It has tons of options on how to wrap the baby now, and as they get older. Super easy, relatively cheap to make, and you can make it with whatever fabric/color/design you want.
I've posted this picture once already, but I seriously love it (the picture, the baby, and the wrap)

@BarrettJ89, how would I go about making a wrap? Is there a tutorial you used as a guide?
I have a code for a seven sling for the cost of shipping. I'm considering purchasing.

Am I the only one who can't figure out how to use any of the wraps? I have a Boba and have tried mutiple times to no avail to get it to work. I feel so dumb lol

@alisong10 awww don't feel dumb wrapping is not easy in the beginning. Have to checked out wrapyourbaby.com she has a ton of video and picture tutorials. You're more likely to do a front cross carry or kangaroo carry. Practice with a doll before putting baby in there. I practiced with my 10lb dog which is a big no no because of claws possibly tearing and compromising the fabric, but I figured if it could hold and support her it would support a newborn. Good luck.

With DS1 I used a ring sling, ergo, and toddler Tula. I still have all of those and have also moved on to woven wraps (much to my bank account's dismay). Love the Didymos wraps.

@alisong10 don't feel dumb, there is a definite learning curve with wraps. Wrap You In Love is also another great site with video tutorials.

@MissMheMhe she just went on pinterest and searched "DIY Woven Wraps." She used 6 yards of osnaburg fabric and cut it in half (hot dog style so that it makes 2). She tapered the ends then surged/hemmed it all the way around. At first, it was really daunting and overwhelming as there is a TON of fabric. It's worth it though. My poor girl is super colicky and wrapping her is the only way to calm her most of the time.
I'm now looking into making a ring sling as an easier alternative for shopping trips and other outings as she hates the car seat, and wrapping her with such long tails on the fabric is tough in parking lots.

For any of you having trouble with figuring out how to use your wrap - YouTube can be your best friend. Seriously YouTube the crap out of whichever style.
With my wrap, I do the "front cross carry" and we love it.

@BarrettJ89 Yes, YouTube is so helpful! I watched a tutorial on how to tie as slip knot in a size 2 wrap for a rebozo carry. For longer wraps Front Cross Carry is the best.

I also have a Solly wrap, @WineBaby122! I LOVE it. It's sometimes the only way I can get baby to settle. And I love that it gives me the ability to be completely hands-free. She even slept in it while I vacuumed my entire house yesterday! For those that are daunted by having to put a wrap on in a parking lot, I always just do the wrapping at home before I leave so I can just pop LO in right when I arrive.

I have a ring sling, a short woven wrap (both handed down to me from my Babywearing older sisters) and a long woven wrap. Right now, I'm favoring the long wrap. I do a front cross carry with it and LO loves it. The short wrap can really only be tied in a rebozo. I don't really feel like LO is secure in that carry or in the ring sling. Maybe I'm not doing something right. I watched BabywearingFaith on YouTube to help me figure out how to tie the wraps and wear everything the correct and safe way. I liked that she demonstrates the carries with her own newborn.

I'm also planning to purchase a Tula once LO is big enough to sit in it. I don't want to have to buy the infant insert since it's about $50 and Tulas are already expensive.

Also, I have managed to be able to wrap the front cross carry while sitting in the backseat of my car. That way the tails aren't getting dirty on the ground and I can just get LO out of her seat and put her in before getting out of the car. It has made errands so much easier.
