Smelly pee?

DD's pee is suddenly really stinky! I noticed it last night. Had to change her in the middle of the night because I thought the smell was due to a full diaper... But it wasn't. She doesn't have a fever. We have an appointment with the nurse tomorrow morning for a check up so I'll ask her then. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if maybe it's something I'm eating?

This happened with my baby and it turned out she had a UTI. We noticed she had really smelly pee and 2-3 days later she had a fever, and that's when we found out she had an UTI. But her doctor also said smelly pee isn't always a sign of of UTI, sometimes it's just smelly pee.

Are you taking any antibiotics? My pedi told me that would make baby's pee stinky.

Okay so in case anyone else experiences this, my pedi said stinky pee is not necessarily an indication of uti. According to her it can be due to something I ate or because my milk had a higher fat content that day. Interesting stuff! Thanks for your responses ladies!!
