Getting up on all fours

Is anyone else's baby doing this? He's four and a half months old. He gets up on all fours and tries to go forward but hasn't figured out to move his arms so he kinda just lunges forward. Just wondering if it means he's going to crawl soon!

Id say he looks close. my LO is 5 and half months old and he will get his front half up but hasn't figured out the legs part yet.

Yep, my LO does that then inch worms backwards, but hasn't figured out forward yet. I'm sure it won't be long! Start baby proofing.

DS1 started a little before 6 months in late January, he started crawling a few weeks later at the beginning of March. This one is around the same age, he will push up with his hands and pull his knees under him but he hasn't put them together yet.

Yes my daughter started getting up on all fours at 5 months and 1 week. She's now crawling and will be 6 months on the 10th!
