Wtf LO. apparently she has decided sleep is overrated. Tok me until midnight to get her to sleep. Then she woke at 3 and 6. But then up at 7. Mommy just wants to sleep.
WTF...time. Why are you speeding by so quickly? I feel like it was just the other day when I delivered LO but now he's almost a month old. Really? Weeks pass like days...
My WTF is not for a bad reason but I got up this morning and said; "Holy Sh*t!" DS just slept a normal sleep schedule for the first night in 5 nights. Praise the lord! He went to bed at 8:00. Was up at 12 for a feeding and then 4:20. He is still asleep, but I can hear him in the bedroom getting squirmy. Granted, DH and I did have to get up twice to burp him after each feeding about an hour later because he was a little restless and put his paci. back in, but he went right back down to sleep afterwards. I was ready to call my mom or dad over today to watch him, if I didn't get a solid 4-5 hours of sleep. I was working on pure steam and K-cups yesterday.
So really I am just shocked and pleased to see that there is some relief with this reflux issue we are trying to deal with. We got him on some medicine yesterday and began adding a teaspoon and a half of rice cereal to his milk. It hasn't been a full day of the medicine yet, but the rice cereal combo. we got in, 4 bottles by the end of yesterday. So far, he's been spitting up less and has been able to get himself to sleep without sounding like a wheezing/gurgling/grunting animal.
@cali1710 Your night sounds like the last 4-5 we've been having with DS. A couple of those nights, we didn't get 3 hours in between. I feel your pain!
Wtf weather- thank you for making it feel like my house is going to blow away. This rain/wind event that's stretching across the east coast has GOT to go.
My wtf is related to my job. Originally my boss told me I could work from home two days a week with no end date. I just got a message from her saying that she thinks this schedule should end in April. As if I am not having enough anxiety about going back part time in 3 weeks now I have to worry that I might not get my two extra days at home. Sad momma face
WTF SO? When the toddler lets loose a terrifying scream in the middle of the night, don't block my way out of the bedroom by stopping to put on slippers and pants. My baby needs me (he NEVER cries out at night) get the flick out of my way!
WTF Hubby? DS was awake from 4am to 6am, he had a nap too close to bed time. I finally got him to sleep a little after 6. I finally fell back asleep around 6:30....then 6:45-DH alarm starts going off. And it's not a nice morning alarm. It's the sound of a car alarm. So of course DS and I are jolted awake. So what does DH do? He snoozes it and falls back asleep!! Don't worry about the screaming baby and sleep deprived wife right next to you, just get your extra 5 minutes until your alarm goes off again!
@GAgirlinSDakota and @melturz Glad it's not just my SO... I'm one of those people, especially now that I have kids, if I hear them, I'm up and wide awake. First off, he sleeps through it. He never wakes up to either of the LO's crying. Second, he will snooze his f-ing alarm for an hour or more if I don't physically kick him out of bed...
As for my WTF, ugh hormones/anxiety. I'm such a wacky mess! I'm sleep deprived (like we all are) and we have so much going on all at once that I'm feeling super uneasy about everything. My son woke up crying last night and actually let me rock him to sleep. I cried because he's so big and he was holding onto my shirt as he slept. We just found out that we have a seriously strong case for custody of my SD, which is phenomenal, but I also know it's going to be a long, challenging, and emotional road for all of us. It also means we don't have the finances to look into a much needed bigger house. My anxiety is through the roof. And the baby is still having tummy troubles. I need a nap, but my anxiety is over powering my need for sleep...
I'm WTFing whatever is wrong with the toddler. Strange enough that he woke up crying last night, but he's been super clingy all day. To the point of screaming and hyperventilating if he's not being cradled and rocked. He's never been like this and it's scary.
General wtf dd came home from bio dad's at Christmas time with headlice I deep cleaned my whole house, washed everything, sprayed down all the furniture, treated everyone (ps for any breastfeeding mom's we can treat ourselves with a vinegar and salt solution that burns your skin but kills lice and nits both). I have also treated her like 3 more times just to be sure I got them all I was so ocd about it I fried her hair. Last weekend was his weekend again and guess who came home with lice again now I have to retreat everyone and clean everything if we weren't dead broke I would be throwing all pillows and blankets away but we are so my life consists of endless loads of laundry, literally endless, with a super fussy baby who refuses to be set down and whom I can baby wear since my wrap is in the washer! Sorry for the novel I'm just so frustrated and dh doesn't care and instead of helping me my mom just complains that I should call the court and refuse to let her go back there.
My WTF goes to my brain. Here I am at midnight wiiiiide awake while the little guy sleeps. Knowing my luck I'll fall asleep right before he wakes up. Ugh. I wish I could sleep.
