Extremely faint positive and bleeding same day (TW)

I tested pretty early (approx. 10 or 11 dpo) and got what I believe to be a verrryyy light positive this morning, I mean so light I had to hold it up to the light to see it better. I've had a lot of the classic "symptoms" this week but I know it could also be af coming. Not due for af until Wednesday(ish) though. Yesterday I saw a very tiny amount of pink and brown spots when wiping. This morning after the test I had a brief larger amount of bright red bleeding with wiping. Nothing really showing up on my liner since then. Some very minor cramping/pinching feelings but nothing super noticeable. I am not asking if I am pregnant. My question is, is this possibly an indicator of a false positive or chemical pregnancy..or anything along those lines? I know it's still very early but I am a little bit hesitant to be excited. I do plan on getting more tests but I would like some insight. Please go easy on me.

    Its something unfortunately only time Will Tell :( 
    Bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy caused by implantation or old blood but it can also be a chemical pregnancy.

    your best bet would be to take another test.

    Sorry that you are going through this! I had a chemical that started with brown spotting that turned into pink spotting and then full blown bleeding. It's hard to say because sometimes bleeding is normal but I think it's more concerning with cramps. Sending you good thoughts! I would keep testing and see. I had a faint positive for a week and then nothing.

    Sorry you're going through this. I can't remember exactly how many DPO I got my BFP but it was fairly early. The next day I woke with light pink spotting. I got my BFP on a Monday and had had spotting the previous Thursday but BFN. My first BFPs were very faint. I'm now almost 34 weeks.  So anyway, really we can't help much, I hope it's just some routine spotting but more HPTs are your best bet. Best of luck :)

    Just another recommendation, I would wait to take another pregnacy test for at least another day. Hcg takes 48-72 hours to double so if you wait for that time period you are more likely to get a more definitive answer   Good luck! I'm sorry you are going through this but like pp's have said only time will tell

    I agree with waiting another day or two and then taking the test as @msuzannah said it will be better to wait as the line should get darker I believe. Sorry you are going through this

    Retest! Bleeding that early can be normal. I'm 13 weeks today and when I was 12 weeks I had gushes of bright red blood and the baby was okay. When I was about 5 weeks I had two 3 day long spotting episodes. Chemical pregnancy is possible, but it's also possible it isnt. And spotting can be implantation bleeding, or really from so many reasons. Stay calm and just wait, I know it's hard to wait for results but it's all we can do. Keep updating, please.

    Thank you all for the support. I had a full on period with lots of small clots that started a few days after my original post. I'm pretty bummed but I'm okay with it. Not letting it bring me down, maybe in a couple months ill have better luck.

    Im sorry to hear that. Good luck ttc. You may want to  check out the TTGP board and lurk there for a bit. There are lots of great ladies there.
