HELP...6 day old has been crying for 4 hours!

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months
my baby is 6 days old and has suddenly started crying for 4 hours now... She is breastfed... Drawing her knees up... Not taking the breast... Do i try formula? Do I pump and dump? I'm a wreck :(

    I would pump and see if she will eat from bottle or syringe if you worry about nipple confusion. Mine cried in the beginning and it turns out he wasn't eating enough. When we sorted it our he was a much happier baby!

    Did you check your lo's eyes and toes? She could have scratched herself in the eye or have a string/hair around her toe. Either of these can cause inconsolable crying.
