I had to start getting rhogam injections at 7 weeks with both pregnancies I've had. I started bleeding around then. This go round they knew my blood type and automatically just gave it to me. My first pregnancy I had to wait for hours in the ER to do the blood test. I also had to have it multiple times during my first pregnancy, 7 weeks, 11 weeks and 16 weeks. This time I've only had one bleeding episode so I've only had one injection. Most people don't have to have as many as I did though.beeker816 said:Forgot to mention been spotting now pretty regularly for about 2 weeks.
Re: Rh-?
Also, it doesn't affect this pregnancy at all. It reduces the risk that your body rejects the next pregnancy in case this baby's blood is positive and your body tries to build up immunity.
