R/R/CS: I had CD1 (red flow) and then on CD2 I only had brown spotting. Today I've got red flow again. This happened last month. Is this normal?
GTKY - What are 3 food items you always have on hand in your kitchen? What are you having for dinner tonight? *recipes welcome* I'm going to a wedding tonight but our must-have items in the kitchen are pasta and pasta sauce. R/R/CS:
Spotting seems to have stopped for real. Possible Ewcm sighting. Temps possibly unreliable due to cold. OPKs Still negative.
GTKY - What are 3 food items you always have on hand in your kitchen? What are you having for dinner tonight? *recipes welcome*
garlic, canned tomatoes and canned green beans
I am sick so comfort food it is. Grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup.
R/R/CS: We had to put down the foster girl we were taking care of today. She had been used as a bait dog for fighting and was in a bad way. She couldn't walk, and we were trying to get her a custom doggie wheelchair made. But after her kidney function dropped to under 50% even with dialysis, we didn't want to make her suffer any longer. So I'm a bit of an emotional mess this weekend.
GTKY - What are 3 food items you always have on hand in your kitchen? What are you having for dinner tonight? *recipes welcome*
Our kitchen food items vary so much its hard to find much more than salt, pepper, and olive oil that is always on hand. DH is grilling pork chops and sweet potatoes for dinner. I may whip up some of my scratch turtle brownies as well for dessert.
R/R/CS: It's gorgeous where I live this weekend with weather in the 60s-70s...and this is my working weekend at the hospital. Doesn't it always work that way?!
GTKY - What are 3 food items you always have on hand in your kitchen? What are you having for dinner tonight? *recipes welcome* I would say quinoa, sharp cheddar cheese, and black beans. We eat a lot of those three things! And on that track...here's my favorite vegetarian main dish that my carnivorous DH will eat! https://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/black-bean-and-quinoa-enchilada-bake/

R/R/CS: I'm actually kind of relieved to see CD1 today. Last cycle was kind of a disaster. I got really sick, and my O was delayed by a week. Then, right after that, DH got sick. We didn't get to HIO because we felt like death. Not to mention that we were both working a ton of OT, which led to only having a -6 for timing. Excited to start fresh with a new cycle, and neither of us will have OT during this month's FW!
GTKY - What are 3 food items you always have on hand in your kitchen? What are you having for dinner tonight? I always have popcorn, fresh fruit, and hard boiled eggs.
It's CD1. So I'm having wine for dinner.

But by midnight it was a blazing positive, and we didn't get to bd until after that. Worried that I o'd this morning/today, we also did the deed this morning, and now I'm set on getting another one in tonight. Effffffff. Our timing is going to be like, -1, 0 x2, +1. I just want to do this right one month...

@Kay6519 I'm so sorry about your foster doggie. GTKY - What are 3 food items you always have on hand in your kitchen? What are you having for dinner tonight? *recipes welcome* This is a great question! DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
I can’t believe I missed the second half of the GTKY this morning. I guess I was too thrown by having to pick only three things that I always have on hand. I had leftover cauliflower fried rice for dinner because DH decided he didn’t want dinner tonight and I didn’t want to make it just for me. Anyway, since I didn't get back on yesterday, here's a weekend one, which I don't usually do!
@atcwag - Ugh, sorry that you didn’t get the good temp you wanted this morning.
@Marley629 - Sorry you didn’t get in that last HIO you wanted, but FX for your TWW, assuming high temps to confirm O!
@LINDSEYRVA - Sorry that you’re having a rough AF! Hope it gets better soon!
@korycir - I know you don’t want to hear this, but I think you’re just going to need to wait to see what your temps do. They could dip back down before O. If they don’t, then I would personally guess CD14, but you’ll just have to wait and see.
@peachykeen17 - Bummer! I always use the light from my phone screen, but it definitely isn’t easy!
@MRSCORKER - have fun with your friend! My BFF lives in NJ and I’m in CA, so I know how real that struggle is!
@bcooke314 - Sorry for the incomplete sex… that was us today. Always a bummer!
@Zoey1019 - Yay! And yes, I do think they’re pretty obvious once you get a positive. -6 doesn’t count because sperm only lives inside the body for 5 days max, is my understanding. -3, -1 is still good though! I think there’s a study that people put here sometimes that -1 is actually slightly better than O timing wise anyway. I’m glad that this board was able to help you and you’re feeling more in control!
@longliveregina - LOL, there are days that I have to check multiple times what CD I’m on even before I finish putting it in these posts! Sorry that you’re feeling crampy, but FX for temps to confirm O. A slow rise temp shift is also plenty common.
@Xstatic3333 - Hooray for AF being gone! Burritos sound good! And you just reminded me that I forgot to get tortillas at the store. Hot sauce subscription box sounds intriguing!
@NamelessAria - FX for confirmed O. 48 hours is the outside edge of normal. They say 24-48 hours, so definitely possible. And -3, -1, O sounds good to me.
@MrsBinPA - Sorry that you’ve got headache/blahs today. I hope you’re feeling better by morning!
@dogmomwantinghuman - Painting is one of those things that I feel like is always fun for the first wall or two, but never for all four. Hopefully you enjoy though!
@emilyIRL - I hope your DH got off the phone in a reasonable amount of time!
@PennStateCait - I don’t think it’s all that abnormal. It’s happened to me before, and I’ve seen it mentioned by others on here as well.
@furbabymom2007 - Glad the spotting stopped, and I hope you’re feeling better soon!
@houseofsetters - Sorry that you can’t enjoy the weather this weekend.
@LeCool - so sorry for CD1. *hugs* Enjoy the wine. On to a new cycle!
@whiska - You CAN get O on the same day as positive OPK, but it’s more common for it to be the next day or two, so I wouldn’t worry about that too much. That’s still decent timing!
@Hayrock - So sorry for CD1 *hugs*, but yay for getting to move on after a long cycle.
@mrsdee15 - so sorry for CD1 and headaches. *hugs* Enjoy the wine, and I hope you’re feeling better tomorrow.
