My baby is 5 weeks old and it's been worse than ever today. She keeps constantly acting like she's hungry. I feed her up to 3 to 4 ounces every 3 to 4 hours. I burp her after every 1 ounce she drinks. And every time she spits up bad. And it's just been today it's this bad. Not even 30 minutes later she acts hungry again sucking on her hands and crying non-stop. I give her her pacifier. She sucks on her binkie for just a couple of minutes then she spits it out and starts screaming again. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? Its been going on since 3 in the morning. And it's just been today and I'm exhausted.
Re: Baby wont stop crying
I also discovered around that point that when DD is overtired she acts starving so I would over feed her causing her to spit up.
It's worth checking with your pediatrician though.
but on the nights he just will not sleep for anything, I'll put him in my baby carrier that I strap to my chest, so I can run around the house, clean, do laundry, etc and he will just be content as can be as long as his head is against my chest. By the time I'm done doing chores he is fast asleep. Life saver. I'm not sure if this will help in your situation, but it was just an idea to throw out there. Good luck!
Seriously. The Wonder Weeks app: best $1.99 ever spent. I posted about it the other day.
Doesnt spit up so not reflux? super gassy, fights sleep and gets so overtired no matter what we do to help her. Giving her probiotics and gripe water to help with gas, helps a tiny bit. Nothing soothes her once she starts the crying spell, I got her to stop for 10 minutes by taking a bath with her but afterwards screams bloody murder.
Edit: cut out dairy a week ago, takes a few weeks though
