Positive Vibes: Brag About Your DH/DW/SO

We need some positivity around here after UO and FFFC!

Take a moment to brag about your wonderful spouse or SO. It doesn't have to be pregnancy-related.

Re: Positive Vibes: Brag About Your DH/DW/SO

  • My DH has been incredible. I've been so nauseous and sick to my stomach that I basically collapse in bed after work and barely get up all evening. DH has been taking on all the housekeeping and taking care of DS (almost 2 yo) by himself. He got really sick this week and missed two days of work, but he still saved all his energy for the evening so he could give me time to rest. Whatta man.

  • I ran out of morning sickness meds (long story) and my DH woke up before I did to change a poopy diaper, get a bottle and made me an omelet and tea which are what I need to start my day with if I don't want to puke the whole time... I've got a good one!
  • DH  woke up early and kept our daughter busy and cleaned while I slept. I rewarded him by making banana chocolate chip pancakes!
  • My hubby has been really good about taking care of me--making sure I lie down if tired; running to the store when I need something, buying me ginger ale when I was nauseated, and generally making sure I don't overdo it. He also called all the loan companies this week (we are trying to buy a house) to check on rates and options.

  • DH has been doing the cooking since I have been exhausted and dealing with morning sickness. I love when he cooks!
  • OH has run out twice for my cravings and tolerates my crazy moods the past couple of days by not getting too upset when my hormones start an argument. He's been so supportive of me through all of this and I know he'll continue to be amazing.

  • I love DH so much. He evens me out. I have been so stressed at work and he knows exactly how to make me feel better. I've also not been super affectionate and have preferred space because of feeling terrible and he has been so sweet and understanding.

  • DH is always willing to pick up the one food I think I can tolerate for the day. And yesterday he got up early and got DD up and fed which gave me an extra hour of sleep that I really needed.
  • DH has been treating me to whatever I like. I ask for pancakes and he makes them. If I tell him I'm really tired. He'll watch the kiddos. Plus he has been cleaning up a lot and doing errands. I love him so much  and I am so grateful for him.

  • DH went with me to have my lab work done today. He started talking when he noticed it was starting to bother me and made sure I was okay before we left the lab. Then he took me out to lunch. :) He's always been very understanding when I have blood drawn and I really appreciate that! He's always supportive and helps fight for what's in the best interest of me and our children. <3
  • Aww - I love all the mushy gushy goodness! My DH never ever complains - dishes in the sink, laundry on the bed, no dinner? - no biggie.  He just goes with the flow and finds the silver lining in everything.  He has made me so much more relaxed and I used to be psycho about planning everything to perfection but now I see that whatever happens was always supposed to happen so just don't fight it.  And I love how serious he is at work but, is the most silly person I ever met around his closest family and friends.  He's going to be such a good daddy!!
  • DH took both our boys 2 and 4 to long Island for the day to see his grandmother for her birthday. I had some much needed down time and was able to clean up without little people under foot. Then I got myself a pedicure and did some over time at work. It was nice since I know the long drive (2.5 hours one way) is rough with them.

  • My DH has been absolutely amazing! He completely understands when I am hormonal or experiencing morning sickness. He always does whatever he can to make me
    happy
  • Ok, I am going to take it to a whole other level...My husband is an amazing lover lol! He has done an excellent job keeping up with my increased sex drive during this pregnancy.  ;)
