Weeks/Size: 31 - entering single digits for the weeks! Agh! Baby is the size of a foam finger.

What's new with baby? He has all of his senses and is just working on getting bigger.

Appointments? Today in about an hour! Finally wrote down some of my questions for the doc. Hope that goes well.

Any new preparations for baby? Hoping to finish up the crafts for the nursery tonight, although I have been saying this weekly....

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: My body wants to kill me after what I put it through this weekend in Vegas. Lots of walking = one tired mama to be.

GTKY: If you could have any super power, what would it be? BONUS - What would your super hero name be? My super power would be to teleport and my super hero name would beeee...hmmmm. No idea lol. I may come back to this later.

What's new with baby? still packing on the fat...

Any new preparations for baby? starting to get the urge to complete the registry, but I don't have my registry completion coupon yet... The kiddo's room is finally done, all I need to do is the wall decor and final touches. Crib is still set to toddler bed because the 4yo won't sleep in the big kid bed. Prepping at work for maternity leave. I set up the bassinet/mini-packnplay to let it air out/see how it fits. The swing might come out this weekend. Also, I started gathering things for the hospital bag.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: dairy, I guess. Starting to try again for a veggie balance. I feel like I went through a carb-heavy week and need more veggies.

What's new with baby? She's big as a pineapple and irises reacts to light

Appointments? Going to my physiotherapist today

Any new preparations for baby? Got DS a "big boy" bed and we'll get a new mattress for the baby crib

Weeks/size: 32 weeks 6 days

What's new with baby? She's moving around like crazy. I was able to see her last week on a ultrasound and she was sucking her thumb.

Appointments? Seeing a high risk doctor plus regular OB and also a blood doctor for my low blood platelets.

Any new preparations for baby? I am having my baby shower (throw by my mom) this Saturday Jan. 30 and also having one at work on Feb. 5

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Lower back pain and very tired. I am craving sweets but I have GD so I can't indulge in what I want.

I would like to have healing powers so I can heal all the symptoms that I have been having.

Weeks/Size: 35 weeks (on Thursday)

What's new with baby? Baby is the size of a coconut (that's one big ass coconut!)

Appointments? My injection is today at 3:30, tomorrow's growth scan u/s is tomorrow at 6, then my last injection is Friday 2/5!!! I also see a doctor 1ce a week from here on out!

Any new preparations for baby? I have everything done and in place. We just need to get a couple odds and ends here and there but that is it.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Heartburn is back despite the zantac, and my pelvic pain continues...

The only superpower I would want would be to run really fast like the Flash- then my supermetabolism would keep me super skinny! lol

Weeks/Size: 34 tomorrow (34 w on my 34th birthday - who can say they've done THAT before?!?)

What's new with baby? Had to stay extra at my midwife appt today for monitoring due to high bp reading (130/90) and contractions. Everything settled down and went to work but I have instructions to call in at the first sign of anything - headache, blurry vision, pain in upper right abdominal quadrant.

Appointments? Two weeks

Any new preparations for baby? Nursery is almost done, just need to hang artwork

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I think baby is engaging again. He's head down and everything feels lower and I'm having a lot more pelvic pain

My son would call me super mom. When I start breast feeding again, it will be Super Boobs.

What's new with baby? Just growing away.

Appointments? Thursday I have a check up and my Strep B test. Then I start weeklies

Any new preparations for baby? Finished buying a few last minute needs, just need to stock up on some diapers and maybe start thinking about packing my bag.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Exhaustion... This is so much harder with a toddler running around and not being able to nap when ever I feel the need. I envy FTMs right now.

Questions? Any other STMs out there starting with the mom guilt yet? I know its silly but I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how to balance a newborn and a toddler. I would love any and all advice right now.

GTKY: If you could have any super power, what would it be? BONUS - What would your super hero name be? I think it would have to be the ability to teleport myself and others, I'm kinda tired of traveling to see family and think that it would be way easier to just snap my fingers to be there

I am too tired right now to come up with a cool super hero name.

What's new with baby? Urinating about a pint a day

Appointments? Had a check up yesterday and everything looked good. Next appt is in 2 weeks and I get a sizing u/s.

Any new preparations for baby? Bought a dresser and washed nb-3 mo clothes from DD1. Also bought a ton of stuff from Target using our completion discount. Most of the stuff comes in the mail tomorrow including a double jogging stroller!

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: 3rd tri finally hit me this past week: horrible sciatic pain, heartburn, nausea, lack of appetite, etc. I just feel horrible most of the time

GTKY: If you could have any super power, what would it be? BONUS - What would your super hero name be? Super power, hmmmm, maybe the ability to freeze time. That way I could get more done during the day, never be late, etc. Wow that sounds kinda lame but I'm sure it would come in handy.

There were days I wanted to cry because it was hard but we got through it. We involved DS1 in the small baby care tasks - like bringing a diaper, sitting on the couch while nursing and reading both boys a story, having him bring a passifier to his brother, give him a bottle (while sitting there with him of course). Let your oldest be involved. You probably will get frustrated easily - take time outs for yourself if you find yourself getting frustrated with your oldest easily. DON'T take on potty training with a newborn. If your oldest starts getting into trouble, talk to your baby and tell him "Ok [baby], [big brother/sister] needs mommy right now, so I'm going to put you down in the bouncer for a little bit." That let's your oldest know that he/she is still super important to you and you have attention for him/her. Also when you can, try to do special things with your oldest - when baby is down for a nap, do your kid's favorite activity with him/her. It's a balancing act and 18 months later I still don't have it together.

Weeks/Size: 31 weeks / Pineapple (YUM!!!!)

Team Blue/Pink/Green: Blue (and I have a 20 mo old daughter)

What's new with baby? Nothing really... definitely can feel a lot more kicking and rolling

Appointments? Next Monday with OB and Wednesday for an ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved away from my cervix... fingers crossed I don't need a C-section

Any new preparations for baby? Absolutely nothing! I feel like I'm being a bad mom for not really prepping for this LO. With DD, everything was new and exciting. This time around, I don't even have to put DD's toys away.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Started to swell a little since earlier this week. The big tummy is making it hard to sleep, and did I say husband's snoring? Oh gosh, I just want to kick that man!!!!

Questions? How do you get DH or SO to stop snoring or should I just kick him out of the room?

GTKY: If you could have any super power, what would it be? Definitely healing power like some people mentioned. I would first make this lingering flu go away and stop DD from coughing at night because 50/50 chance that she ends up throwing up.

BONUS - What would your super hero name be? First name that popped up was Sailor Moon... not sure why

What's new with baby? Growing, and I think she's testing engagement.

Appointments? Today- Things are measuring and sounding good.

Any new preparations for baby? All her clothes are washed. Her co-sleeper is here, but still in the box. DH is taking off today and tomorrow to put flooring, baseboards, and doors in the house. (Maybe we'll move in during Feb.?)
DH finally got his tdap today after declaring often that he wouldn't get it.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: DS (2.5yo) is testing his boundaries big time. DD still has no name.

Telekinesis: I need things to fly into my hand, especially if I have to pick it up off the floor.

I wish I can! My daughter is not sleeping through the night and she only wants mommy. Most of the time she goes right back to sleep (or ends up sleeping in our bed) but that means I need to be somewhat alert.

What's new with baby? All of his senses are in full gear!

Appointments? None this week!

Any new preparations for baby? Just had our baby shower over the weekend and got pretty much everything we needed! Now we just have to buy the last few things (stroller & changing pad) and start packing the hospital bag.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Greasy foods & sweets all the time which does not agree well with my heartburn (thank goodness for heartburn meds lol). Really not enjoying the pressure feeling at the bottom of my belly every time I stand up but dealing with it.

What's new with baby? She is growing so well and moves alot and won't stay still

Appointments? Had one today go back February 4th

Any new preparations for baby? Everything is done, just need to pack hospital bag since I'm scheduled for my 3rd c-section a week earlier if things go according to plan and my BP doesn't go back up.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Heartburn, swelling, high blood pressure (doctor has me on medication to keep it down) now I have pains in my wrists and fingers hopefully it's not carpal tunnel (doctor is monitoring me and has me checking BP at home as well) I am on weekly visits but if I get headaches,dizziness, my fingers start to lock up,etc. I have to go in ASAP

What's new with baby? He is starting to run out of room in there. I can tell because he is always stretched out!

Appointments? On Monday!

Any new preparations for baby? Lots of stuff coming in the mail. Baby shower on Sunday so we will see what we still need after that and probably after we get moved.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Emotions anyone? One minute I can't stop laughing, the next I am liable to rip your head off.

Questions? I feel like baby just pushes on me a lot more than solid kicks, anyone else?

What's new with baby? Bones are hardening and keeping eyes open when awake!

Appointments? Had one last Tuesday! Healthy heartbeat and still diagonally head down. Next appointment is on Feb 9 (how is it almost February already?!? Ahh!)

Any new preparations for baby? I'll be getting all out newborn things up from the basement to clean this weekend. I just made an appointment for a car seat safety inspection too.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I am so congested all the time! I hate breathing through the my mouth, especially when sleeping, but I can't seem to clear my nose out!

Weeks/Size: 34 weeks today. It's a squash / cantaloupe melon / quokka!

Team Blue/Pink/Green: Blue!

What's new with baby? Nothing much other than moving and grooving a lot. He has been doing a lot more just stretching here as well. But that's been going on for weeks. Not much I would call an actual kick, just a strong stretch and always on my right side and into my ribs. Doesn't hurt yet.

Appointments? Had one this morning including an US, an NST, and a pre-natal. All is well.

Any new preparations for baby? We are interviewing doulas and I guess I need to book a newborn session soon. Other than that, just franticly trying to get stuff done at work and counting down the days.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I really can't complain yet. Just some dizziness here and there after standing too long. Other than that, no real aches or pains yet, which so far is better than last time when I was suffering with SI paint most of the last trimester. I did have to stop running cause they wanted me to gain more weight, so I guess that's my one complaint.

Questions? None at the moment.

GTKY: If you could have any super power, what would it be? BONUS - What would your super hero name be? I have no idea whatsoever. Although, being able to predict winning lottery numbers would be kinda awesome, if I could limit myself to just one time that is.

@bdanks Yes I can definitely feel the pushing and stretching in my tummy. There is this one elbow/knee/foot that is always pushing against somewhere above my belly button. It can hurt sometimes and I have to slowly massage/push him back.
