^^Same here. I'm not certain, but I think babies just discover new things and utilize that thing a lot. Example: Right now, my baby is croaking like a frog...all day long...decreased talking but a lot of really cute croaking.
For about a week it was all bubbles and raspberries. So. Much. Spit. Was coming out of LO's mouth. It seems we have moved back to hands for a few days. By the weekend, she could be a participant in the spelling bee - who knows!
Yes. I forgot about the raspberries and bubbles. Those were so cute. This week is shrieking at the top of our lungs. She did Babel a little bit tonight though. Better than shrieking. Lol

Yup, our LO is shrieking the pass 3 days. She did say one cute word today "a-lack" It comes and goes.
Our little guy has moved on to the shrieking too now ... I think he's fascinated by the noises he's able to make. That, and a lot more high-pitched giggles which are the best!
My daughter is shrieking too. It was cute the first day but now it hurts my head haha. I am glad she is learning and such but I won't mind when she is over this phase!
Our plunket nurse explained to us that babies cannot multitask and choose to develop skills they are the most interested in - once mastered they shift to something new. Our wee guy could talk till the cows came home and then suddenly it completely dropped one week... He then switched to trying to hold things etc. We are now highly focused on making the most spitty raspberries ever!

It comes and goes.
