Cycle after Mc and d&c

in TTC After a Loss
Had D&C two weeks ago but stopped bleeding last week Wednesday. I see light blood this afternoon, and have cramps and back ach like it's my period. Can this be my period or is this wishful thinking? Anyone going through  this or went through this? I'm kinda scared the bleeding  is back and it's not my cycle

    Ugh I'm not sure. You can take a pregnancy test, though I'm not sure if your hcg needs to be zero to get your period again. I'm also 2 weeks post d&c. I started bleeding on day 6 and needed a second d&c for retained tissue. It was a ton of blood and a lot of pain. I'd call your ob if you aren't certain. Good luck. I hope I didn't scare you!!!!

    I am scared she said I should come in tomorrow but...I'm so scared. My dB is so patient but I can see the fear in his eyes. We want children so bad. How long after did u start trying again

    I've gone back and forth several times of bleeding and stopping. I eventually had to take progesterone and I should be able to try again this month. My MC was in November. Apparently it can take a good amount of time to get back to normal. Talk to your doctor. They've gone through much education and will be able to help you out.

    @shena7385 - Your MC might not be done, and that is likely going to be frustrating and sad - and that is absolutely ok and normal. But at this point I'd say that you shouldn't be scared yet - go see your ob and she'll help guide you through this. That said, if the bleeding increases to the point that you're filling a pad every hour or so, or you are in a lot of pain, then you should take yourself to the emergency room.

    Edited to add - but I'm not a doctor - which is why I agree with PP that you should go see your doctor.

    @shena7385 my second d&c was 1 week ago. I was told to not have sex until my follow-up appointment (which is 2 weeks after the d&c) and not start trying until after my second period post-procedure. My period probably won't come for a while still.
