(age 39/40) 9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied) RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy. BFP 9/24/18 • CP (age 40)

Thank you! I didn't make it. I'm not that talented. Lol I had a bakery make it after our ultrasound. The tech wrote down what the gender was and sealed it in an envelope. We gave the envelope to the bakery so that way no one knew the gender until the cake was cut. It was a lot of fun!
You're more patient than me! I wanted to know the sex right away and then I rushed to the grocery store, bought a little pink cake and went to my parents' house. (After telling DH, of course.) I was surprised they even had a pink cake. I was willing to settle for writing "it's a girl" on whatever I could find. I was in such a hurry to share the news, I'm surprised I didn't just write it on a piece of bread at my house and run out the door.

@CarrieandRoy patience is not my strongest area. But this is probably our last baby/pregnancy no matter how it turns out so I found some patience knowing that. I love what you did, too! Although I probably would've gone with the bread idea a few pregnancies back. Haha!!
