MY BOOBS

When I was pregnant with DS, I didn't really notice any significant changes to the girls. This time I swear they have tripled in size in the past two weeks! Loving this!!!

Re: MY BOOBS

  • Lol. I definitely feel like they got a lot bigger a lot sooner this time around. Hubby is loving it. Me, not so much. They are huge and in the way and hurt All. The. Time.
  • Mine are bigger this time around too. I've gone from a B to a D cup and I'm 12 weeks. My midwife told me yesterday, "no matter what you're planning to do, you breasts sure are planning to breast feed!" lol

  • Haha, I have noticed a small difference, mainly because my bra is feeling a lot tighter, just looking at them they don't 'really' seem bigger, but hubby says they are. I don't mind if they keep growing, but I HATE bra shopping and I am not looking forward to having to shop!!

  • I went from a 38DD to a 38F, so that's fun. I bought maternity/nursing bras, though, and they're so much more comfortable than my old bras. It still hurts to take my bra off when I get home, but I feel more supported when I'm wearing them.
  • @Whitmore1027 same here. I don't see a big difference but hubby is convinced he can see it.

I haven't had much soreness except weirdly in the middle of the night when I get up to pee. It's like all of a sudden I have pain because gravity took over after laying down for a few hours.
  • I went up two cup sizes by week 9. Hopefully it will slow down for me, because I am in an E/DDD now.
  • I can't tell that mine have changed in size, just . . . consistency. Used to be much more like they were filled with water (hubby actually finds it amusing to make little ripples and watch my nipple bob around like a ship at sea lmao.) But now they are firmer and definitely heavier! Dunno if I will have to change bras, so far at 13+ weeks old reliable is trucking along.

  • For me having sore boobs was my first pregnancy sign, I think they started getting sore more than a week before my period. The pain hasn't stopped since and they no longer fit in any of my bras. I've bought some new sports bras just to sleep in because taking my bra off at the end of the day is no longer a relief. They're definitely heavier too, I'm hoping they don't get any bigger but being only 10w there's still time for them to.

  • Mine woke me up at 4 am this morning because they hurt! They aren't huge yet, but I'm expecting that sooner rather than later!

  • @Duffgurl It was cold yesterday and my nipples hurt SO BAD on a level I have never experienced (BF my 19 month old.)  I remember both the pain of sore boobs first pregnancy and the pain of breastfeeding initially... Its like both. Times a million.
  • @texasmama2014 I told a friend the other day I felt like my nipples could cut glass!!! Lol! So sensitive!

  • Mine haven't gone up in size too much about definitely feel fuller and heavier. Wouldn't mind a tad bigger!

  • They have gotten bigger! The tenderness seems to be gone within the past week or so. 2 weeks ago I started feeling the sensation of "let down", like when your milk is coming through during breastfeeding, but then it stopped after a day or so. I stopped breast feeding a little less then a year ago, so I guess they are ramping up to start again!

I've felt this from time to time, too!  I'm praying that my milk comes in within a reasonable time from birth this time!!  Hopefully it's a sign.

  • Mine really haven't gotten much bigger, but they're definitely sore and full again.  My nipples are a little sensitive, but nothing like last time.  After I stopped BF they didn't really shrink but they felt like deflated balloons - it was sad - at least they have some fullness back to them now.  They've been sore a lot longer than during pregnancy #1, tho - still sore at 12w, so that's different.  The first time they were sore for a week or two, that was my first clue that I was indeed pregnant, but then it went completely away.  I had the incredibly sensitive nipples for about a week around 8w last time, I could barely shower because the running water hurt, but then that was it.  And at 16w I was leaking colostrum - I had no idea and I was sleeping in my bras and I would wake up with my nipples basically glued to my bra because of the leaking - it was so painful to pull the fabric off!  I'm hoping that doesn't happen this time!!
