9w and Bedrest!

I've had red spotting and strong cramping for 2 days. Today (tmi) the blood smelled foul so I called the doc. He's put me on progesterone and strict bedrest for the rest of the week and over the weekend. If the bleeding hasn't stopped by Monday I can't go to work and need to call the office again. I am so scared and worried! Does the progesterone stop the bleeding? Anyone been through this? Thanks!

    I'm on progesterone and I've been on it since last month before our transfer (the dr said its to keep the pregnancy).  I'm not sure about stopping the bleeding though.  I'm sorry you're going through this and I really hope the bleeding stops soon and you and your baby will be fine.  Big hugs. 
    TTC for Baby #1 for 3 years. After 2 failed IUI's & IVFs, God blessed us with our miracle :).  FET 12/17/15 (transferred 2 embryos at 5days). First Beta 12/29/15 = 354. Second Beta 12/31/15 = 694. Third Beta 1/7/16 = 6,695.  Finally heard his heartbeat (126)  on 1/14/16 @ our 1st US.  2nd US on 1/21/16, HR was 159.  The most beautiful sound ever :)

    I was on bedrest from the time I found out (4 weeks) to 13 weeks due to spotting. Mostly pink and red. I was told I had a friable cervix that even walking made it bleed. I was also on progesterone shortly after ovulation since I had history of spotting each month after ovulation. It did usually help stop the spotting. I stopped progesterone around 13 weeks. The only time it didn't help with my bleeding was when I mc prior to this pregnancy.  I hear some ladies just spot the whole pregnancy. Hang in there and best wishes!!
