I love the name Penelope but have just found out that thank to Kourtenay Kardashian it's becoming a more popular name!

If you love it, go for it. Penelope Disick is like 4 years old - I'm guessing any spike in popularity due to her birth is pretty much over.

We're 95 percent certain that DD2 will have the middle name Penelope. I don't personally know any, and it's one of the few names I like with our chosen first name. It's more popular than any other name I like, according to the SSA, but for once that doesn't bother me.

I would imagine that Penelope Cruz is much more of an influential factor on the popularity of the name - but I have zero clue about the Kardashians-except that they have 246 reality shows....so perhaps I'm underestimating the level of persuasiveness their children have over popular culture and baby names?

I had no idea that was her daughters name. But I also have no interest in the kardashians or anything regarding them. The photographer who did our mat pics and DD'so nb pics has a little girl named Penelope but that is the only one I've ever met IRL. I always think of the movie Club Dread when I see the name.

I think it's a very sweet name. I only know one Penelope, she's 5 or 6, I think. She goes by Penny most of the time.

my cat's name is penelope. She came with the name. if not for the cat, i would have considered it for my baby! still, i don't think it's that popular. go for it! (meet penelope)
