Milk allergy continues for baby and I feel so bad. This is our third formula. Anyone else struggling with milk allergies or have success with elecare. So hard watching my little ones tummy hurt....

    We struggled!! We wasted tons of money on different formulas. We finally settled on similac soy. He gets bad gas pains from the soy beans so he has to take gas drops regularly. Good luck!

    We have been on Elecare for almost 2 months now. We have seen a lot of improvement as far as her tummy problems. We just still struggle with her acid reflux. We have to buy a specific brand of oatmeal cereal for her as well, since most cereals also contain milk proteins.

    We use prosobee and unfortunately it does constipate her but it's the one she tolerates so we either feed her puréed prunes or at juice to a bottle everyday. No gas or tummy aches as long as she gets her prunes. I stupidly gave her a bite of my yogurt the other day without thinking because she wanted some and she cried for almost 2 hours! I felt so bad. So I'm thinking we might become a lactose free household.

    My pedi gave me samples of Alimentum and Alfamino. Both seem fine, but Alfamino is the only hypoallergenic I know of that doesn't smell like that awful dog food smell.

    Lol..yes alimentum smells! My Lil guy seems to eat less since being on elecare in the last five days. Reflux seems a little better with new reflux med. Now hoping we can get rid of his congestion. .my poor guy
