Since those of us still waiting are likely bored or frustrated and looking for distractions, have you selected a name or finalist names you'll be choosing from? (I love lurking the name board but obviously care more about everyone here so I'm curious.)
We never settle on a name until after the baby is born, but for this little girl I think it's down to Nora and Rory. DH also likes Riley and double first names with Mary (Mary Clare, Mary Frances, Mary Margaret) but Riley is a bit too trendy for me and the Mary combination names, while lovely, sound like nun names and we are Irish and Catholic as it is so it feels like overkill.

Re: Just for fun- name(s) you've picked if you're still waiting on your baby
We have a middle name game where each day around her due date has a different middle name we'll use, but if I have to get induced, we'll throw that out and then just pick our faves. I think they would currently be:
Tess Emmeline or Tess Violet, or
Rose Quinlan
(The middles are all family names, other than Emmeline, we just like the sound of it.)
I've settled on Juliet for this sweet baby girl, if she ever decides to make an arrival.
Talia Noelle
Isabella Marie
Sophia Marie
Sophie Louise
Hannah Louise
Hannah Michelle
And @claireloSC - I adore the name (or nickname) Poppy! It is super feisty and adorable. My boss's boss has a little 4 year old named Poppy and she lives up to both aspects of the name. It was on our short list actually, but we finally decided that one syllable first names fit better with our surname. But anyway, love Penelope and love the Poppy nn!
In 3 minutes (or by the time I'm done typing this even, haha) it will be my due date. When she decides to grace us with her presence, this little one will be named Maya Rae. We're a mixed family (part Catholic Colombian, part Muslim Turkish, part Jewish German/Polish, we joke that she's a world peace baby) and we wanted her name to not scream out any one race or religion. We started just looking for a name we liked the sound of, and then were pleased to learn that Maya has roots in many countries with many cool meanings...from a Hindu goddess, generous in Persian, water in Hebrew, princess in Arabian, love in Nepali, and much more.
Her nickname will be Ari. Ari means lion in hewbrew. I'm Jewish.
Marjorie is my grandma's name, may is my husband's grandma name
Connor Austin if it's a boy.
Austin is my grandma's maiden name and also my middle name.
I love all of you who chose Rose! I love flower names, we couldn't choose Rose though it's our beloved dog's name! Poppy is such a great flower name too!!
hopefully we can meet our tiny loves soon!
