Oat allergy?

I started my (very big) daughter on rice cereal a couple weeks ago and then some oat cereal about a week ago. She only at it three or four times and then started having major runny (watery diarrhea) poops, multiple times a day (normally she would poo once every day or two). It's been three days since she's had oatmeal and she has had a faint rash around her neck and on her face. Is this normal for a food sensitivity? My first never had any food issues....

    Is she teething? Runny nose & diarrhea can be symptoms of that

    Good thought. She seems to be. She's super drooly (always is though), and chews on eeeeverything. Has a runny nose today too.

    I'm not sure about the rash but I do know that oatmeal will make them poop more whereas rice will do the opposite. I give mine rice with the occasional oatmeal when he is constipated.
    As PP said the poop could also be a result of teething.
    I would take the oatmeal away until everything clears up and then reintroduce in a couple weeks and watch for symptoms again. Just make sure when you reintroduce you're not changing anything else around the same time.
