Due Date and weeks?

So I'm curious, I am 13w1d today and due date is 8/1 I've seen a few ladies in this thread say they are further than that but they are still in the August moms club. Do some doctors give you a date and say but you're this far along? How does that work?

Just confused and trying to understand if different doctors date/time things besides the actually gestation.

Some people who have late July due dates participate on this board in addition to July. FTMs, especially, are likely to go past their due dates. I know if mine was at the end of a month I would probably participate in the following month's board, otherwise I'd always feel way behind everyone else.

In a similar vein, I know there are a few early September moms who are having scheduled c-sections prior to 40 weeks. I think our board spans from about 8w to 14w right now.

I've been late in the month with both my babies and it's hard/nice because everyone seems so far ahead, but they can give me great advice/remind me of what's coming. I get envy when I hear about the better stuff ahead and it certainly was rough last time when my baby came late and it seemed like I was the last person on earth still pregnant (not even close to the last on my board!). I lurk a bit here and there but I'm pretty loyal to one month/I'm lazy.

I have a EDD of 9/4 but I'll have a RCS at 39 weeks and puts me in August!

7 weeks here. I'm due Sep 12th but I imagine the c section will be 37 weeks on Aug 22nd. I was on the Sep '13 board with my first due Fri Sep 13th just to have it be confirmed it was still placenta prévia and they were going with a planned c section on Aug 26th. Not that 1 month really matters... But when I conceived on the exact same day again (my freaky ovaries... Why do they like Dec 21st?) I figured I'd just join Aug from the start. :-)

I am due July 26th but my DD was a week late so I am assuming I will be landing here!

Based on my lmp my due date is 8/2 which my doctor agrees with, based on my 12w ultrasound...should have been, 12w3d, said I was 13w1d which would make me 13w5d today, however since it was within a week she's not changing my date. I had the same due date with dd and had her on 7/25...so really you never know.

My edd moved from 8/3 to 7/28 based on ultrasounds (essentially baby caught up and grew a lot recently) so doc just said we'll call 7/30 my due date which aligns exactly when calculating my LMP.

I'm all across the board, i feel like. My last period date was 11-7, which would put me mid august... but my ultrasounds measure me two weeks behind that so today I'm 9w5d with an EDD of august 25. I definitely like the idea of lurking on the september board. I often feel so far behind reading these!

9weeks 4days due August 27th.
Hard to know if I should lurk on another month lol I went into labour with my 1st at 37weeks 5days they gave me a shot to stop it, it didn't work so they gave me another shot in a stronger dose. Labour stopped and I didn't give birth till I was 42weeks 5days. My second was born 36weeks 5days. And my third was born 3days after my due date.

I'm actually the opposite...I have yet to see the doc (i get to tomorrow) to confirm/get my due date...but by my estimate i'm early September...but my first came early...so i'm pretty sure i'll be having an August 2016 baby. I try to go between the 2 boards.

Edit: Could we make an August/Sept 2016 board for all us boarder line dates?!
