Still have 'morning' sickness

At 20 weeks, I still have 'morning' (mostly afternoon/evening) sickness.  It's beyond ginger, peppermint, acupressure bracelets, and frequent snacks.  Last night, I yakked up my anti-nausea med - great. I came here to whine because I feel better having told you ladies and the entire interwebz .

Anyone else still living this?  Lets give morning sickness the middle finger, cry together, hug it out then touch our bellies knowing it's temporary and not all for naught.

  • Oh man. When I was earlier along, I hated eggs. Like HATED eggs. Waffles were fine. Now I devour eggs and today, I tried to eat waffles before work and....let's just say it was gross lol you are not alone! *hugs*

  • Yes! I'm with ya. I was back in the ER for meds and an iv because of HG this weekend. It's not fun. But it is temporary!
  • Yes! Not as bad as you, but still annoying. Mostly just turning into nausea now and I just don't eat, so nothing can come up. I haven't thrown up in a few days. I've had the worst diarrhea my entire pregnancy, which is better than vomiting, but it runs me dry badly and I usually need fluids for low blood pressure. Still have the sea bands on going to try without them tomorrow. Lots of food adversions, I live on smoothies lol. Two weeks ago I needed some fluids, but knock on wood the last week I've been decent.
  • I still have it when I'm overtired in the morning (which is basically everyday). Pretty much the same in my last pregnancy...got no relief until 3rd Tri and even then I had some days.

  • Yuppppp. If I don't take 1/2 unisom before bed, the next day is brutal. I HATE taking meds, but with a job, two other kiddos, a husband and a home to care for, I just can't NOT function.
  • Last night I brushed my teeth for too long before spitting. And then I had to explain to my husband that yes, that's exactly the kind of thing that makes me nauseated.

  • Stinks! I there too- I have HG and had to get another IV this past week. But then I had a good day yesterday!! It's encouraging. I mean I am taking Zofran, phenegran, and Reglan all day long but at least I held down food! It's been a rough road. I feel your pain and hope it gets better. I won't lie, I cry pretty often to my mom (who is hundreds of miles away) about wishing I just felt normal again.
  • Ugh, hang in there ladies.  I am so sorry that you're dealing with this.  It's awful.  Feel free to vent here anytime.  Maybe 3rd tri will be the saving grace!
  • I'm still with you :( some days I feel fine but I am still throwing up !! I'm totally over it .. I will go one day maybe two if I'm lucky not throwing up and then it's on. I know it doesn't fix the problem but at least you are not alone ! I hope it ends I'm sick of feeling hung over all the time and throwing up
  • Totally--- I get a little window every day where I'm not really nauseated but otherwise, frequently feel like puking.  It really sucks.  I was just thinking about how hard I find really basic tasks at work when I'm feeling pukey- like right now :(.
  • Had a dry heave sesh this morning. Fun.

Wishing you the best ladies, and FX for relief in 3rd tri.
  • Been feeling much better for the best 2 weeks or so. Decided to stop taking nausea meds and was sick all day. I'll gladly take the meds if it means no vomit.
