Hubby: 36, testicular Ca, chemo April-May 2012.

The bump says a blueberry. Bundoo says a raisin. I like pregnant chicken's description of a shark baby.

Practically no symptoms. If it weren't for my weekly USs at the fertility clinic, I wouldn't even know I was pregnant. I pretty much have confirmation it's just a singleton. I was still holding out hope there were still two babies but she dug around quite a bit for me today to reassure me and she could only find one. That's still great!

So my sister in law and I planned a nice weekend out of town to see Def Leopard playing in Atlantic City on Valentines weekend for my husband and his twin brother. We were just starting fertility treatments back in Nov when we book everything as a surprise for the guys and I was looking forward to a boozy adult wknd with everyone. (But I was looking forward to being pregnant more.) I'll only be 10 weeks and we prob won't be telling family yet so I'm trying to think up a few things to do to not make it obvious I'm not drinking so we dont raise any suspicions. I'm thinking of having everyone in our hotel room for mimosas Sun morning before our boozy brunch so I can make mine non alcoholic and then justify not drinking at the brunch so I can have a drink at the concert. They know we were TTC so reducing alcohol would not raise suspicions.

We're trying to move to Atlanta. We currently live in Georgia but four hours away from Atlanta where all or friends and family are. We live in a city where the crime has gotten out of control and we just want to be near family again. We've been TTC so we knew I could get pregnant before we got jobs up there and can move. We're fine with waiting until August to start applying for jobs again.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I'm feeling pretty great... although still random bouts of nausea such as when I puked up my entire breakfast yesterday morning. I'm enjoying a surprise extra day of the weekend thanks to the snow!
Questions? I found out last week I've been referred to a hematologist for high platelet counts. Apparently it can be considered high risk in pregnancy. I'm nervous for the appointment and praying all goes well, but has anyone else experienced high platelets in pregnancy?

We have two weddings in the midwest (I live on the east coast) this spring/summer, one Memorial Day weekend that is my brothers and I refuse to miss and the other one the last weekend in June that my hubby is in... I'm hoping I'll be allowed to go to both without any huge issues. On the bright side, I'm excited to buy a cute maternity dress for it!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Oh man, so glad my tummy is finally settling down. I hated feeling queasy all the time. We have the FTS on Thursday this week and I am so excited for the ultrasound. It will be the first time we get to see the baby! Not really much of a bump to speak of yet, but I am guessing it will start growing in the next 2 weeks!!

Nope. We tried for 11 months so we never made big plans for anything knowing that it could happen any month now. I think the biggest thing is that DH is going to try to put in a patio and landscaping around the house, and I won't be able to help as much as I had hoped.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Went for NT scan today and baby would not cooperate. Just did on its head the whole time even after lots of poking, jiggling and even jogging in place lol. I'm super bummed cuz the pictures are crap. Looks like Rorschach blots. Also it's $200 after insurance for each US so that feels like a lot to pay for no results. Already misbehaving, lawd help me!

Am in a friends wedding in July. Think I should be find to attend, but my friend is now having to think about having a pregnant bridesmaid (I told her that if that didn't fit with her vision I would totally understand and be happy to just attend as well). Also, was hoping to go to her bachelorette party in Mexico in March, but having to pass on that as well
