extra lining / lightly padded maternity bras?

I don't know if I was always this way and it didn't matter because my regular bras are a little thicker, but since I switched to maternity bras (found at Target, not sure which brand), my nipples are constantly poking through my shirts.  It hasn't been so bad in winter because I can bundle up with thicker sweaters and such, but thinking ahead... any recommendations for slightly thicker maternity / nursing bras to alleviate this?

Re: extra lining / lightly padded maternity bras?

  • Mine are from Destination Maternity & are lined so I don't run into this problem.

  • As someone who has always had super aggressive nipples, I too am interested in the answer to this question.
  • I recently bought some lightly padded bras with no underwire from Victoria's Secret.  While they aren't necessarily branded as "maternity" bras, they were recommended by the sales associate as items frequently purchased during pregnancy.  They provide good support, are very comfortable, and are thick enough not to show nipple lines.

I have one of those, and it is AMAZING!  I also bought another wireless one (I can't remember which one right off) that provides a little more support and is still comfortable for everyday wear.
