I need some advice. I have had a great and easy going 1st pregnancy so far at almost 20 weeks. My Husband and I are celebrating my 30th birthday when I am around 33 weeks pregnant. As this is a BIG one, I don't want to stay local to my area, but not sure how far away we can go, without it getting to complicated. And my husband is worried about prepaying for things, and then not being able to go. Have any of you traveled by car, during this time, with ease, and were comfortable and had energy to do things?
We live near Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN.
Re: Traveling at 33 weeks Pregnant
That's just my experience, many people are more catious
Can you take off a little early? Needing to "go big" and go in a trip at 33 weeks seems a bit... Unnessessary IMO.

I agree with checking with your doctor. I know they told me with my last pregnancy, you are at greater risk for blood clots with traveling long distances in the car. So at the very least, make lots of stops to get out and walk around!
I know the date seems important but I'd go a month earlier. You'll feel better and enjoy the trip a lot more. Plus you can also go out for a nice dinner on your birthday - bonus!
