  I never had to. I never tried to put them back on until I went back to work. I would say wait a little longer.

  I'm 3wks pp - I tried putting on my ring the other day and I got it past my knucke but half way down the fat part of my finger...
  But I retained ALOT of fluid so I'm going to wait a bit before I worry about resizing I miss my ring

  Took my 4 months for all my rings to fit again, both times.

  2 weeks pp - engagement ring fits, not yet for wedding band.

  took me about 4 wks for my wedding rings to fit. Still were a little more snug that originally but eventually they went back to 100% normal. wait a few more wks.

  2 weeks PP incan get them on but its a mad struggle to get them off

  It took me a month or two before they fit again- you probably won't need to resize. I know it's frustrating!

  I had to get mine resized but I gained 60 lbs with my first pregnancy and never lost about 20 lbs of it.

  I don't remember how long it took after my first, but I think it was a week or two. This time around I was wearing them until the last couple of days. I'm 39+2 today. They still fit okay but I was worried they were getting a bit tight. Since I've been pregnant my grandmother gave me her wedding ring and I need to have it sized. I'm going to wait probably 3 months post baby to make sure that everything is back to "normal" before I pay money to have things sized.

  I tried mine today- 2 weeks PP and not even close to fitting yet! I really hope I won't have to resize!!!

  You should wait- because you'd hate to resize them only to have to do it again when you finally shrink lol. It took me a month with #2 and I think it was longer with my first. But I'd definitely give it a few months before resizing

  At 2.5 weeks pp both my rings fit again. Still have 16lbs of 40 to loose.

  I'm due in 2 days and today is the first day I couldn't get them off to shower! Ugh, did your rings fit until delivery and then not after? Or did they not fit during pregnancy either? It's really the only swelling I've had at all so I'm a tad clueless!
