Tmi question about leaking

Ok so I have been leaking vagina fluid which was way to watery to be just discharge. I called my doctor and asked if I could come in for a check up. I went in thinking she would do a test to make sure it was not amniotic fluid but she didn't, she said I'm sure it's just discharge. I explained to her it was liquid and gray and runs down my leg at times even after I just used the bathroom. All she did was a swab of my vagina to test for a yeast infection. Now I'm sitting home in this snow storm with dh and she felt it pour out again. Anyone experience this before?

    If it's gray and foul smelling it could be an infection. I don't believe amniotic fluid has color...

    How far along are you? At the end of my last pregnancy, I was leaking amniotic fluid and it would do the same thing-gush down my leg. It was colorless and odorless, however. If they come back to you with inconclusive results, ask them to test you to see if it is amniotic fluid (insist on a Ph strip test and that they look at a sample under the microscope) and an ultrasound to measure fluid levels. My doc originally only looked under the microscope and said she saw nothing, and then I leaked for six more days. It was nonsense. Try not to worry-I bet it's nothing, but you want peace of mind.

    I've definitely had this since the beginning of my pregnancy. I wouldn't say it was gray, though. For the most part, it was clear with white streaks. At some point, it had a light brown tinge, which I could only tell because I wore white underwear that day. It was happening the most around 5 or 6 weeks and everytime I bent over (also just standing and sitting), I felt like stuff was coming out. I did fertility treatments and had several early ultrasounds. I was told a had a small collection of fluid in my uterus and not to be alarmed if I had fluid or brown fluid leak out. The collection of fluid was nothing to be worried about either. So, maybe that's happening to you too if this isn't common? I read Jenny McCarthy's book, and she described it happening to her too.

    TTC since 5/14
    Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)
    Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
    Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN 
    First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN
    6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results
    TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN
    TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts
    BC for 2 weeks due to cysts
    TI - Injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & full dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 10/15 --> 1 mature follicle --> BFN 
    TI - Last attempt at injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + crinone (AM only) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 11/15 --> 3-4 mature follicles --> BFP!! 11/27/15 @ 13dpo (shockingly, actually waited until then to test)

    Beta #1 @ 16dpo (11/30/15) = 1,075
    Beta #2 @ 19dpo (12/3/15) = 3,150
    One baby: Saw heartbeat @ 5w5d (114 bpm; baby measuring 2.3mm)

    @ebilbao I'm 11w 5d I insisted on the test but my doctor refused because I'm still early in my pregnancy.. I just have never had watery discharge that runs down my legs.

    Thanks for the information ladies all I can do is keep an eye on it.

    Honestly, I'd seek a new opinion and possibly a new doctor if anyone ever refused a quick, easy, inexpensive test that could put my mind at ease. I'm sure it's nothing (pregnancy is full of weird juices), but you deserve peace of mind.

    The gray is what throws me off about that. I am extra juicy down there (which is great for sex :wink: ) but no gray or running down my legs. Like said above, I would get separate opinion. Maybe an infection?

    I echo pps, amniotic fluid is often confused with pee, and (mine) did not smell.
