Anyone taking Statin before finding out?

I didn't plan on having anymore babies as my daughter is almost 11. I have high cholesterol at age 31 so my Dr had put me on atorvastatin to lower my cholesterol. It is a rated x medication, and scares me to go to 20 week ultrasound as I am going to high risk. Wondering if anyone has or known someone with similar situation. I am due June 20th.
