My SO. I am pretty sure this kiddo is going to be born any day now since I'm having more contractions and it feels like she has dropped even lower. I am trying to just suck it up for now, however he insisted on waking me up and trying to talk to me. I am about to throw the cat at him! I couldn't go to sleep until 4am because I was trying to not take any meds but my legs felt like I had RLS and I had pain from the contractions...but he got a good 8 hours... Also he is being super loud and complaining about the stupidest crap! He got to work from home today so I am not happy because now he is going to piss me off all day! I don't feel good at all and I may throw something at him! I have a therapy appointment but that won't help at this rate.

I'm going to punch DH in the face. Today was the 2nd day in a row that he hasn't closed the front door all the way and by the time the kids and I come out of the bedrooms it is absolutely freezing!!! And just a few days ago he scolded ME about the electric bill being too high because I don't like sitting in the dark. EFF THAT!
WTF to the toddler? He's only been awake 20min, but he's managed to fall and/or hit his head 4 times already. We haven't even made it out of the bedroom yet.
WTF, time?! Yesterday was my due date, which is fine. I had DS two days before my due date, which has been quite the mindf*ck this time around, but I finally came to terms with it and am looking forward to my induction on Friday. But I swear to god, time has STOPPED. I gave in and ate a giant piece of cake at 9:30am. It's just past noon now and I feel like it should be 6pm. I'm going to be pregnant forever.

Now we go to put both car seats in to go somewhere and, what's that you say? My truck (2004 Silverado, crew cab) only has one set of anchors! How the F am I supposed to install both car seats?! Can you use the seatbelts?
I'm guessing so, I just gotta break out the owner's manual. For whatever reason, neither car seat feels stable with just the seat belts. I'm going to look them up, try it, and have someone either watch the Littles, or have them take my truck to inspect the car seats.
Side note: I was raised by paramedics/firemen, so I've heard the car crash horror stories and I'm just not willing to be one of them.

@WineBaby122 oh my goodness, YES. I'm 3 days late, my induction is scheduled for Saturday, and now that there's a date on it, TIME HAS STOPPED. I tried staying in bed as long as I could. Had some popcorn for breakfast. Now I'm catching up on tv shows, AND IT IS STILL NOT EVEN 1. These next 3 days are going to drag out.
You know that feeling you get when you know your periods due and you're just waiting for it to start and you get dressed and think 'ooohh I should probably put a liner on cause I think today's they day?' Like there's no specific sensation that makes you think that you just know... well I've been feeling like that for 3 days and it's getting really annoying. Like if this is my body telling me labour is coming then let's just have it already!
I decided to take the last week and a half before my due date off from work because I had been feeling so crampy and sore and also had a cold. While part of me is thrilled to actually rest, the other part of me is bored out of my scull. There are plenty of things that need to be done... But do I do any of them... No! Ugh... Kinda regretting my decision. At least work kept my mind off of being pregnant...
I'm 40+1 so you could Imagine my excitement when I woke up at 430 with contractions. After a call to l&d they said come when they are 3-5 min apart. So at 2pm we decided to go to the hospital. They checked my dilation, only 1-2cm. So they said walk around and we will check again in 2 hours. Still no more dilation. So they sent us home. No biggy. Except Ive been having horrible back labour, and cry everytime a contraction comes because I'm in so much pain. Wtf labour, I knew you'd be painful but this is a whole new pain. I can handle just the contractions but the back labour is just not cool...

@carlyhammond It looks like those anchors aren't for the lower latches. They look like the ones that are for the upper anchor latch on a forward facing seat.
If you're installing just the base for an infant seat you just use the lower anchors if your car has them or the seat belt. My anchors are pretty deep between the cushions and hard to find. I actually use the seatbelt on mine because my base has a seatbelt lock and makes it much tighter than with just the latch anchors. Hope this helps!

Yes me too!! Due date was the 15th - Scheduled to be induced Sunday night but I really hope baby comes sooner...

It does, I didn't realize I had two. I tried to find it in the cushion and couldn't so I looked in the manual and I only saw the top latch. I probably didn't look well enough. The way I am doing it now it actually more convenient so I'm not complaining

Mine are similar in my hatchback Nissan Versa. They are actually in the trunk part of the car, so they have to go over the seat to halfway down the back of the trunk. We are using the seatbelts anyway though so it doesn't matter.

Not for my seat, which is rear-facing anyway. Don't worry I had it installed at a special car seat safety event and I'm very confident you do not need the anchor. Older cars don't have the anchor so all car seats must be able to be installed safely without an latch or anchor in the United States.
ETA: Everything I've read recommends rear facing children until 2 years old, so I don't plan on forward facing my baby for a long time.
