Ummmmm, why can't I gif anymore?

Can someone please explain to me how to gif now that the format's been changed? For example, I used to be able to quote and gif, or add more than one gif to a single post. Now I can't! It's SOOOOO frustrating! If you've figured it out, please inform me of this sorcery so that I stop looking like such a dip whenever I attempt to make a funny.
My current method: I add the gif first, then the text later. Is there a magic button that I'm missing?
