TWW - Testing Week of January 17th

Hi Everyone!

Since I don't see a TWW forum for the week of January 17th, I thought I would get one started. I got my positive OPK today. I was pretty shocked by it because usually I don't surge until CD 16 and today is CD 12. Nonetheless, my RE says I can rely on the three very positive OPKs I got this morning, so I will test beginning January 17th. Is anyone else starting their TWW this week?

I will more than likely be testing that week, but near the end, so I'll lurk until confirmed ovulation. I'm on CD12 today and I took Femara CD5-9. No positive OPK yet and I have a folly check on Friday. If I ovulate in the next 4-5 days I'll be testing the week of the 17th. This is my first shot with Femara and hopefully a normal length LP. FX for all the testers!

No trigger, though I wish I had one. Would make things a little less confusing.

You might ovulate later with Letrozole, at least a first. My first cycle I didn't get a surge until CD 17 and ovulated on CD 18. My second cycle I didn't get a surge until CD 16 and ovulated on CD 18. Finally this cycle, my third round of Letrozole, I surged on CD 12 and we anticipate I will ovulate sometime between tonight and tomorrow. So don't get discouraged if you don't get a surge in the next few days. After my first cycle (in which I did a trigger) I told my RE I wanted to try it without the trigger and she said, and has maintained, I can continue to plan not to do a trigger shot, with the caveat that if I do not get a surge by CD 20 I need to go in for an FD ultrasound and trigger. Keep your head up and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Thank you! I had a near positive OPK yesterday so I went in and I had a 20mm and 13mm folly, and she expects me to ovulate today or tomorrow. OPK is back to negative today. I plan to start progesterone sups as well on Sunday. Lining was on the thin side (5.5mm) but I'm drinking Pom juice to hopefully help that along. I will be testing on 1/22 if I can hold out that long.

I will be starting my TWW tomorrow- went in for ultrasound today and the follicles were ready according to the nurse. She gave me the trigger shot and we go in tomorrow for our first IUI. I was shocked because I normally ovulate around CD 20 and I am on CD 14 so this is very early for me! I was on Letrozole for 5 days so maybe that pushed it up? Not sure. Good luck to you all.

Hi all I'm in the tww wait testing this week too! We did our second IUI this cycle... Official beta test is Wednesday am 1/20... I'm terribly anxious and want to get it over with.

Still no positive. I'm 11 dpo today. I will test until I am 14 dpo, but it isn't looking promising

How about you @MrsDepo and @chicandbubbly ... have either of you tested yet?

Sorry about the BFN, but youre not out until AF so FX! I won't rest until Friday. I'm staying strong this cycle and resisting the urge.

Hello guys,
My tww starts today. I had an untrasound on 17th jan, had an mature follicle n got a hcg shot. Yesterday I felt pain on the right side of my tummy, so hoping it was ovulation. My tww starts nw, fingers crossed.....

Are you having any symptoms? I have been having this weird pain low on my pelvic bone today. It is frustrating when all of the symptoms could be from the trigger, af or pregnancy!! (I am not on progesterone).

I have not tested yet! My nurse said the day of the IUI that the trigger could still be in the system until 13 dpiui, so don't test until day 14. I am going crazy waiting but I think I am still going to test on 13dpiui even tho she said it could be a false positive (ugh that would be the worst!!). We had a death in the family today, so it is definitely a sad week for the family. I am praying we can bring a little sunshine to the family this weekend with a BFP!!
