RULE OF THUMB
watch what you say.
Don't make it seem like a mom is wrong for doing etc etc.
Don't say another mom is wrong for not etc etc.
We all parent differently and we need to understand that.
If you're a stay at home mom , great!
But keep in mind that their is a lot of moms who work. Who also do raise their kids equally.
If you're breastfeeding mom , great!
But watch what you say. Such as " I cover up so I am doing it the right way/ the modest way"
Like I said we all parent differently. Don't judge another mom
Re: Just watch your wording please.
Thank you!!! I will be an amazing mom, but I also really love my job. I don't feel guilty about going back to work after the baby. Even if my husband's salary doubled tomorrow, I would work. I work because I want to.
Sometimes these boards can make me feel like I am doing something wrong.
I love this too. I plan on breastfeeding my baby but with all the breastfeeding hype I feel like I will be pressured to public breastfeed and I am not comfortable with that personally for MYSELF. I will be one of those moms who will be covering or only breastfeeding in the privacy of my home and formula feeding in public.
I don't think negatively on breastfeeding at all and will never bash another mom for public feeding because I don't. I told a dear friend of mine I wasn't comfortable with MYSELF public breastfeeding and she got mad at me and said I was part of the problem. It was very hurtful.
So momma-to-be do what you need and feel right for your baby.
