Hey ladies, I'm giving up on regular jeans and making the jump to maternity ones....tired of being uncomfortable. Any suggestions on favorites? Thanks!
I bought mine from motherhood maternity last time because I needed talls. I have been looking on pinkblushmaternity.com and have seen some super cute ones there too.
I absolutely love my Gap maternity full panel jeans. They are so comfy!!! I got them from a second hand store but I am hoping I can still buy them on the Gap site.
i just got in a pair of boyfriend fit jeans from JCrew that I ordered during their clearance sale (currently $60 plus 50% off). They have these side panels that stretch.: Maternity Boyfriend Jean They don't fit right now, a little loose in the waist, but I can tell I am going to wear them to death once my belly starts growing. I also ordered a pair of their jean shorts. I'm tempted to order a pair of the white jeans for summer too.
Last time I never found maternity jeans that didn't constantly require me to pull up all day long. This time I found Lee pull on jeans that are like a yoga pant waistline with a regular jean construction. They wont take me all the way but I'm hoping ill at least make it to the summer with them and then just forget the jeans altogether.
Another option are jeggings which you can buy regular size and just let them stretch with you.
I like the full front panel ones (the ones with stretchy fabric over your entire belly. The underbelly ones hurt too bad for me. I was super sensitive in that area and I'm not sure if it was because I have bilateral hernias. Post c section though when I was recovered enough but still had a big ole belly, the under belly elastic maternity jeans (like low rise jeans) were my favorite. Motherhood maternity sometimes has clearance and I had some luck with local consignments finding jeans short enough for me. Luckily in the summer we can wear dresses.

I bought a couple pairs from Macy's because I had a gift card. I also bought a pair of dress pants from Kohl's. I love them! Then again, I only just started wearing them and have no frame of reference.
I'll probably go to Motherhood Maternity for clothes at some point. Just dropped a bunch of money on bras there so I didn't bother looking at clothes. Once the weather gets nice and summer tops and shorts are out I'll make another trip. I might try Old Navy, but their in-store selection this past weekend was pretty sad.
I liked the full panel ones much better than the stretchy side ones. They helped to smooth my belly button a little, and I found them much more comfortable.
I invested in a pair of 7 for all mankind jeans (from destination maternity) in my last pregnancy and I'm actually looking forward to wearing them again! They were definitely expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion. They didn't slip down like other cheaper pairs and since I only bought one or two pairs of jeans, it's worth it to have a really nice pair.
I'm wearing Paige Premium Denim jeans with side panels and a pair of Joe's Jeans with an elastic band in front. Not sure how long they'll last me before I need full panel but I'm really happy with the fit and style.
I've heard great things about Jessica Simpson maternity pants from Macy's. I'm planning to check those out soon.
I'm not sure what jeans you typically wear, but if you wear Miss Me's, you can get them in maternity jeans. They're a little pricey, but then again, all Miss Me jeans are.
Old Navy, Motherhood maternity, Kohls online, JC Penny online and if you don't want to pay full price and don't mind second hand clothing check out Craigslist or Varagesale.
With my DS I lived in full panel maternity skinny jeans from Loft. They have online sales all the time so price is right. They fit really well and stay on, don't get too baggy with wear and don't lose their color (and I'm typically super obsessed with jeans and only wear Paige or AG). I'm hoping they fit again this pregnancy, I'll likely buy another couple of pairs!
I know I posted these before, I think the thread was called "showing", but... I made these. Used a tutorial on katesews.com. These were made from some of my jeans that I really didn't wear before. Super easy project (I'm really no seamstress) that can be accomplished really quickly with a sewing machine. The top is before, the bottom is after i replaced the pockets with stretchy material (from an old pair of leggings). These should last a good while. Next I'm going to try making the full panel variety.
I have several pair of Oh Mamma! maternity jeans with the low panel. They fit really well. I found them on zulily and walmart.com. You can get them for around 15 bucks, which I loved. If you go on walmart.com they have a lot of super cute and super cheap maternity clothes. I've stocked up thru them.

Aww! That reminds me of the movie "Juno" where her step mom was sewing panels into get jeans for her. So handy! I can sew, I might just have to try that! Thanks for the tip!

Try a belly band to start until you really can't fit into your jeans, I used my belly band post partum too!! As far as maternity- I did Motherhood Maternity with DD and loved them! I went there today and got another pair since my old ones are too small!
I just went to H&M this weekend. They have a clearence section. I got full panel super skinny stretchy jeans and I love them. Plus they were only $10. They feel really comfy.
Alright, I just want you ladies to know, that every time I see this thread on the home-page, I want to cry. Because thinking about JEANS in AUGUST makes me want to die.
That is all.

I ordered some off JCPenney, and they are adddorable. I found the h&m ones too tightly fitted, and the Gap ones saggy.
I kept the Gap ones, since the extra room will be nice in a few months.
