    I had heard the same thing as @msuzannah

    Congrats on the baby! Just wait and be excited like the rest of us. I promise that will go over on here much better! If you really want to play the game maybe post it on what to expect or baby center :)

    Guys. Remember, in the U.S. it's 49.5% girl, 49.5% boy, 1% intersex (correct wording?).
    A friend of mine just found out that her baby has "ambiguous genatalia" at an ultrasound.

    Actually, statistically there are more boys born every year, yet more women of adult age.

    Some people can be such killjoys smh lol I know how much the curious can really get to you. I had been going through the same thing I'm 15wks today and I just got my blood work back from counsyl and the report told me there was a.... XY chromo... So I'm having a lil boy

    Wait, why am I a killjoy for thinking it is ridiculous for people ask look at the head and/or leg dangle to guess the sex of their fetus?

    You can call me a killjoy or rude, but I am not allow to call some one uneducated to follow OWT's with such conviction? (Btw, not calling any one uneducated, just making a point).

    While this maybe fun for your family and girlfriends, I am not having fun nor am I amused.

    Still not understanding why if you can wait 13 weeks why you can't wait 6 more ? I mean you've already done that two times over. Guessing won't make the time go any faster...

    I am sure everyone before 20 weeks or before their tests come back are curious. However, just because we don't believe in these theories doesn't mean we are killjoys.

    The truth is, the only two reliable ways to find out the sex is 1. blood test 2. Anatomy scan... not how my pee fizzles in a cup or which side of the uterus the baby is on or how fast the heartbeat is.
    Nope, nope, nope.
    Two reliable ways to find out the sex is.....
    1. Blood test
    2. After you give birth

    Techs can be wrong. My friend had three ultrasounds, with three different techs, was told every time it was a girl, had a boy. I know several people that has happened to. Anatomy scans are close, but they aren't nearly as accurate as the blood test and spreading their legs after birth.
