Hey folks. I just started posting today but neglected to introducd myself. I'm due on june 25 with my first child. I got pregnant while on birth control. My boyfriend (we found out a few days before our 1 year anniversary ) didn't want me to keep the baby so our relationship faded to black over the next two weeks.

Here I am 3 months later, single and doing my best not to be too sad about it. Im so happy about the baby that I dont want to ruin this time by allowing myself to wallow in the crapiness of the situation. Im hoping participating a bit around here might help.

Welcome! Congratulations on your baby! And... don't worry about the dad, either he'll come around or he won't, but either way single mom's rock! My mom raised my brother and I without our fathers at all and we both turned out to be self made, pretty successful and happy adults! We also had a pretty great childhood with our amazing mom.

Well first off welcome! I know first hand what its like to Be a single mom. My daughter Kennedy is 6 and her dad left while I was about 3 months pregnant with her. Now for the last 2 years I've met and stayed with my boyfriend and am now pregnant with my second daughter and looking back I wouldn't change a thing. You are an amazing and brave mama.
