Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? How much fun he is.  We were friends before we met and he was my favorite person to be around, and now I get to be around him forever, so thats a 'win' to me :) What won me over after we were dating was how sweet he is.  He will do anything to make me happy.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? Greasy food and lots of water.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?  Our master bathroom has a door that separates the shower from the rest of the bathroom.  The shower room is kind of a 'jack and jill' style one..it has a door that leads to the bathroom in the hallway and a door that leads to the bathroom in our room, so its shared...but theres no heat vent in it so its always so cold in there!! This is our first winter in our house so I'm just now finding this out.  I guess I need to buy a small space heater to heat up the room before I go in to take a shower.

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? I'm still trying to figure this out...j/k! His personality. He's a kid at heart, sometimes too much like a kid!

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? I haven't had many hangovers but taking tylenol and drinking water before sleeping help me.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? Call me crazy but the open floor plan drives me crazy some days. H's man cave/gaming room is on the first floor and he gets loud. For that reason I don't like the floor plan. I plan to move him to the basement once we finish it.

    Love this!

Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?
His kindness, no question. That trait shined through from the very first time we talked, and I was hooked from the get-go. Plus he's super hot ;)

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?
It's so gross, but McDonald's fries and a fountain soda. The soda MUST be Sprite and never in a bottle or can. Works every time.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?
We literally have no closets on the first floor (where we spend 99% of our time). Our house was built in 1880 and apparently they didn't need storage then? It drives me freaking nuts. I hate clutter so it's a constant battle to keep things looking nice when THERE'S NOWHERE TO PUT ANYTHING.
  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? Mostly his sense of humor. I loved that he could always make me laugh even when I didn't want to. And since we've been married and started ttc, I love that DH wants to be a dad. It just makes me love him even more, if that's possible!

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? Usually sleep, a few ibuprofen, and food. I've also learned over the years that drinking some water or gatorade and a snack before bed usually makes the morning less painful

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? I really really really wish there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom!

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? His sense of humor and how artsy he is.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? Not drinking so much as to end up with one in the first place ;)

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? My kitchen. It's galley style and AWFUL.

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?  His intelligence.  The man is smart.  Which, if nothing else, certainly helps him understand me and we all know how crazy us girls can get.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?  I'm with @kmalls on the McDonald's fountain pop - except it has to be a Coke!  That stuff must have crack in it for real.  Also the McD's breakfast food.  Really wish they would have had the all day breakfast back when hangovers were more frequent for me, now I'm just like, no I don't want that 3rd drink because I'll be dying tomorrow.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?  We just moved into our house a few months ago and still have to paint a few rooms.  I call one of the (empty) bedrooms the Blue's Clues room because it is painted like the Blue's Clues dude's shirt.
  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?  He always makes it his job to figure out a way to make me laugh...regardless of the situation.  I seriously cannot be in a bad mood when I am around him...and if I am, he does whatever possible to make me smile/laugh.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?  This will likely sound like a lie, but I do not get hungover.  My friends and DH get so mad at me for this, but I could drink like a fish and be fine the next day!

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?  I initially loved our white kitchen sink because I thought it looked great with the other colors in the kitchen.  Now I HATE it!  It gets so dirty and unless I clean it like 3 times a day, it looks awful!

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? (I don't actually get hangovers...ssh...)

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? Well, one of my kitchen cupboard doors fell off randomly yesterday, so that was great. Other than that, it's the lack of storage. We live in this super cool apartment complex with urban loft-style units--what we've always wanted, really--except that there's no pantry and just a walk-in closet for storage. Which is, obviously, used to store our clothes in. Other than that, we love it here!

Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? There are so many things... He's ridiculously fun to be around. We pretty much never stop running around the house doing silly things together. We always end up looking at each other saying "fly on the wall..." because if anyone were there to witness us being our silly selves, they'd think we were insane lol. Also, he's really intelligent and hard working, which is sexy as hell. And to top it all off, he's 6'4. This 5'10 girl was in love at first sight!

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? I've actually never had a hangover. I've literally drank until I blacked out and still felt completely fine the next day. It's a gift, really. And maybe even a superpower.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? DH and I just built our house in October of 2014, so it's pretty perfect, but there are a couple things we wish we'd done differently. The biggest thing being I wish we had sprung for hard wood in the main living areas. We allocated a large part of our "upgrades" budget to adding square footage in the living room. Our thought was we could always rip up the carpet and install hardwood later but we can't (easily) add square footage to the house. Overall, I think we made the right decision between the two, but we're already tired of the carpet. Me more so than DH. Anytime we go to Lowe's, I always end up perusing the hard wood aisle dreaming of what could've been and wondering if it would be completely insane to rip the carpet up after only one year of use.  :/

  • @kmalls I lived in an older house growing up. The reason there are no closets is that they were taxed per room and closets were considered rooms. That is why they used armoires.

Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?
He is my opposite and that challenges me.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? like a few others have said water and ibuprofen before bed and in the morning.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? Hmmm... we just bought ours in April so there is a lot of upgrades to be done. I would say the biggest thing is how they have the W&D hookups. The washer should be on the left and the dryer on the right but it isn't so my doors do not open away from eachother. It is not a quick fix to redo the pluming.

  • Win: He is smart, generous, and kind. But I also loved the fact that every night he dropped me off he would ask when he could see me again. There were no games, no drama. He acted like a man! I loved that. Also, he never pressured the sex thing. I thought that showed so much respect.

Wine: Excedrin, Powerade Zero, McDonald's. I've been known to have hangovers so bad that the only thing i could eat was McDonald's for all three meals. *Hangs head in shame*

Whine: I wish we had more than 1 bathroom. We've had to get creative when we've both needed to use the toilet. Gross, I know. But that's intimacy and love right there!

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? He's so sweet and goofy. When we first met I thought he was really serious and it made me nervous, but he's just a big kid at heart.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? I drink a ton of water daily, so that plus Excedrin Migraine. When that fails, Chipotle chips with guac and hot salsa.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? The size!!! I'd love a second bedroom and more storage space. It feels cluttered even when it's clean right now.

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? He's patient, kind, level-headed and he has a way of putting me in my place that doesn't feel like I got reprimanded. I'm generally a dominant personality and he keeps me in line without getting bossy.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? Sweat, Excederine and hydration.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? We have 2 separate thermostats (dual zone) and I think they are both on crack. They dictate their own choice of climate. I want to upgrade to the nest - but with two it would cost over $500!
  • Win: His silly personality never fails to keep me laughing, and his voice! Dang that man can sing! ;)

Wine: I've never actually had a hangover. I don't drink very much or often, anyway.

Whine: Oh, there's a list. Lol. We bought a fixer-upper in April, so we've been slowing redoing things throughout the house since then. Right now, I'd have to say the bathroom countertops/sinks are the worst. They're so low that I get water everywhere when I wash my face!!

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?

He is so confident & sexy! Just the way he always carries himself, how he doesn't worry what others think and he has fun. He has amazing style too, random guys always ask him where he got his jacket or his pants, etc. As I've grown to know him more and married him, he is truly the most genuine person I know and I am dumbfounded every day but how much he loves ME. He is infatuated with me, and I with him, and it just makes me have a SEG on my face every time I think about him. Sorry for the mushiness!

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?

Not drink in the first place. Jk, but kinda not. My drinking has really decreased since my early 20s and I love it actually. BUT when I do end up going hard, I will drink a glass of water between each alcoholic drink. I haven't had any alcohol at all this year.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?

We have lived in our house for 1 year, 4 months now and have not had time to paint/rip out our carpet yet. Everything in the house looks fine, it was move in ready but I want to customize it and make it my own. Also, our carpets are beige and my dog has fine, black fur that sheds like no other! The carpet & her fur are like Velcro so I am constantly vacuuming... Grrr...

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? He's so indulgent, I feel spoiled.  And I'm super emotional/intense and he's much more calm and relaxed, I feel like he evens me out.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover? Two big glasses of water with emergen-c before bed and throughout the night, diet coke and vitamin b in the morning.  I feel like I've been playing hangover roulette since I turned 28- some days I can drink a bottle of wine and be just peachy the next day, sometimes two beers drops me on my ass.  No rhyme or reason to it.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? We just moved into a house that needed a LOT of work at the end of September, and I feel like we've made great progress so far.  The thing we can't change without MAJOR renovations is our complete lack of closets.  It's a tiny cape with knee-wall bedrooms and there aren't any closets, and no real space to build one.  We're planning on a reroofing in the next 3 years so I'm hoping I can convince H to expand the space a bit then and build a closet.  Right now my clothes live in racks in the basement. :(
  • I feel like I've been playing hangover roulette since I turned 28- some days I can drink a bottle of wine and be just peachy the next day, sometimes two beers drops me on my ass.  No rhyme or reason to it.

@housewifehobbyist - yes! What the hell is this about?

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO? That would definitely be his eyes.  I can still remember sitting across the table from him at lunch and someone saying something about how cool he was.  Oh the big cow eyes he gave me.   They make my heart melt.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?  Peppermint oil in my coffee.  Love it.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment? We live in a double wide trailer and whoever set it up put the garage so you enter into our bedroom. It is very unhandy.  We just got a wall tree thing to hang coats and stuff but there is still so much stuff right when we enter.  Doesn't help that my DH works with cattle and cars.  Tons of muddy boots.
  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?
He's so fun and spontaneous! I'm a crazy planner and he keeps me from missing out on so many things! He is also super smart and incredibly loyal.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?
    Water. And quesadillas.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?
This is an easy fix that we just haven't done yet, but there is a smoke detector right outside the guest bathroom where I shower, and the second you open the door and the steam hits it, the alarm goes off. I always know it's going to happen and still have a heart attack.
  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?
Definitely his brain!  Love his smarts and the wicked sense of humor that goes right along with them!

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?
I try really, really hard not to get hungover.  All that's ever really helped me when I had one was salty plain foods.  Like crackers. And tortilla chips.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?
Just one?  Sigh.  No, I like this apartment more than past ones, but honestly, it's probably the price of rent and the fact that we rent rather than own.  I'd much rather be paying as ridiculously much as we do to our future selves (via a mortgage) than to our landlord like we are now.

  • Win: What won you over when it comes to your DH/SO?
His intelligence, sarcasm, similar interests, and overall I-have-my-shit-together-ness.

Wine: What's your secret for getting over a hangover?
    n/a? Never had a hangover.

Whine: What is the one thing that drives you crazy in your house/apartment?
It's a fight to open the backyard sliding door, even with WD40, and especially when cold.
