I am 19 weeks today and am barely showing. This is my first baby so just wondering if this is normal. I can feel the little miracle moving so that is reassuring! Thanks!

Re: Baby Bump

  • I'm right there with you as a FTM. I think I just look slightly more plump, but not an obvious baby bump. I'm almost 19 weeks. I think it's normal and everyone is different. I'm chalking it up to my strong abs under a fine layer of pudge, ha!

  • I'm a stm, 20 weeks. My bump is way smaller than when I was preg with DS. This baby is measuring right on track though, I guess she's just laying differently.

  • Normal!  I had a tiny bump around 18 weeks the first time.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI!
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

  • Still not quite showing and 17+ weeks. I could tell more roundness was happening and I can't suck it in at all any more. But because of my pudge before pregnancy, this bump is hiding out a lot. I'm both excited for the bump and nervous because I know once it shows it will just keep getting bigger and bigger!
  • For first time pregnancy especially with only one baby this is completely normal.
  • Thanks everyone!
  • I was just thinking this !! I'm 18 weeks and depending on what I wear you wouldn't even begin to tell .. I couldn't fit in my pants after about week 10 which is weird but I'm not showing to the normal eye . My DH can tell but that is about it . I too start to think something is wrong but I know it's normal based on what I hear and read . It does make me anxious to start showing though I'm sick of everyone asking when it's going to happen ( as if I know ) haha get back to me on Feb . 3rd and I will have a nice bump .. People :)
  • Everything is normal as long as baby is measuring normal on ultrasounds. Every woman has a different body build. Some just have more room for baby to grow before needing to grow out to make space. The way baby is positioned can also make a difference. I had a very tall classmate in grad school who didn't really show until she was 7 months pregnant.

  • I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I'm 21 weeks and only look pregnant if I'm wearing a tight shirt.. with it being winter I'm wearing alot of sweaters and layers so my growing belly is more hidden for sure. I do feel pretty huge in the shower though!! WHOA!
  • I only really look pregnant if I wear tighter shirts in light colors. If I'm in black or drapey clothes or sweaters you can't see anything
