Let's hear them ladies!
My WTF is this weather and the weather forecasters. Is it going to be snow? Is it going to be ice? No one seems to know and the forecast seems to be changing with each news broadcast. AND is different on every channel. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like either ice or snow, but if I have to have one I'd pick snow. At least with snow there is a less likelihood of the power going out. Ice typically means widespread power outages.

Mama to Three Girls:
Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor
and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!
Nurse: "Hi, I heard you wanted to reschedule your appointment?"
Me: "Umm... WRONG! I want to schedule a new appointment because YOUR office CANCELLED my original appointment. Which I had to find out on my own after being told by a friend that my doctor was leaving."
Nurse: "Oh well let's see how far along are you. Hmm... you're 21 weeks. You know we REALLY need to see you next week."
Me: "I am aware. That's why I have an appointment scheduled... Oh wait... You guys cancelled it and didn't bother to tell me. Silly me!"
So she scheduled me for a new appointment (this Thursday) and then got off the phone. The next day I get a call from the hospital.
Nurse: "Hi, I heard you wanted to reschedule your appointment?"
I am beyond irritated. I keep checking online every day that my appointment is still there.
Not nearly as bad but my dentist did something similar last year...she sold the practice and they sent out letters letting people know...my husband got a letter, I did not. When we went in for appts the hygienist asked me if I got a letter, I told her no, and she shrugged and said "yeah, they only send out letters to about half the patients." Huh? In what world is THAT a good business practice??
My WTFW is to my random crying! My BF told me he was getting back with his ex (they were together for 3yrs) and I cried, but why was I crying when I love both of them?! Bahh
Up until now I've been pretty happy that I've made it through 30+ years of life without having to buy one of those notoriously cheap, ill-made bridesmaid dresses straight from Stereotype Heaven, but alas, my streak has finally snapped.
The best part is that I have absolutely no idea how or if this dress will fit, since I can't try it on now and I won't be able to try it on until probably right before the wedding (allowing for postpartum baby bump deflation, etc.), and the strapless design doesn't exactly scream "nursing bra friendly."
so, welp
It's her wedding and I'll wear whatever dress she wants me to wear, but I'm still gonna think WTF on this one.
Been married since 2009.
Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter)
Several MCs
DD born 2013 (our miracle "you can't have babies" baby!)
My son got a baby wipe bath, our sheets are still balled up at the bottom of the stairs, and I had to wait until I got to work to have my tea, but I forgot my tea bags so I had to have the gross Kurig decaf in the teacher's lounge. Blech. Oh, and our bathroom is going to smell super gross because there will be a day old poop hanging out in there when we get home. Awesome.
WTF to some of my family members. I live on the other side of the planet and wont be having a baby shower because I am not going to be the person that asks my family to spend $2000- $4000 to fly here for me. Because of this I had several people in my family ask me to make a registry so I did. I sent it out almost two weeks ago but people seem to not like the items on my registry because they are all now asking me for my home address so they can buy me items there and ship them to me.
Yes this might make me sound like a spoiled brat but why ask me to make a registry if you aren't going to use it? I am grateful that they want to participate in this pregnancy from a distance as much as they can but it was actually a pain in the ass to make the darn registry in the first place! There aren't a lot of places that do online registries in NZ and of those a lot of them are really small boutique places that don't have a wide range of items. a USA international registry was out of the question as shipping was costing more than the items themselves. I'm just so annoyed I wasted time on something that is basically going to go unused.
The other thing that's driving me bonkers about her wedding is that it's clear across the country (I'm in Philly, she's in northern CA) and she wants me to bring the futurebaby, who will at that point be about six weeks old, and HAHA NOPE.
ugh
I'm planning to trash the dress as soon as the reception's over. I'm not even bringing it back from CA. It is so ugly (it's this dingy grayish-blue, completely unflattering to my complexion, and the fabric is just the cheapest ickiest polyester, and and and... I could go on, but forget it, just imagine a tulle toga the color of diseased dishwater and you've got it) and I can't fathom what my sister is thinking. She's always had great taste. Offbeat, but great. And now this.
Well shower is today so we will see how it goes!
