Any new preparations for baby? DS's new room is almost complete! Then we'll move him out of the nursery and finish cleaning and prepping for this baby
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Good gravy, I've been a sweets machine (ice cream, pie, oreos). Heartburn has been killer, and from the last ultrasound, this one will be another furry monkey like DS. Curious if it will be black hair or blonde.
Questions? Anybody have one of those prenatal tummy supports? I've been curious if it'd help me.

Getting bigger! Baby was head down, and last night I felt it turn all the way around. I'm trying to not worry about it haha

Any new preparations for baby?
Our new carpet is finally installed and our mini-renovation in our main living area is done, so that's awesome. Body shop is still working on the van - apparently the hit was a lot harder than they thought and they're Gavin to replace the core support. We have a car seat. I guess I should get a few newborn clothes down.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings:
symptom - lots more BH and breathlessness.
Rant - SPD is miserable!
Rave - I'm actually enjoying the baby's moving more this time! (It usually makes me feel weird, and I've never liked the feelings, but ever since that wreck and the stillness afterward, I just feel so reassured when the baby moves, and almost imagine baby is communicating somehow (I know that's cheesy LOL).)
craving - still *all* the carbs … so many bagels!

Has anyone found anything "safe" to relieve sinus pressure? One side of my face is so full and painful that it hurts to open and close my mouth, and my teeth are achy even; I have the worst sinuses!

Definitely my baby carriers! BW'ing sort of became like a mama-hobby at some point, so I have lots of different kinds. Probably one of my most reached for however is my fave rainbow ring sling, and for exactly the reason @smushi mentioned above. They are handy for quick ups and downs from newborn to toddler!

What's new with baby? Putting on fat
Appointments? February 1st. I'll be 34 weeks. When do the weekly appointments start? 36?
Any new preparations for baby? Got the Rock N' Play back from a friend who borrowed it. Bought a bunch of stuff at the Once Upon a Child clearance sale. Goal for today is to wash it and find places for everything. His dresser is already really full. Haha.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Reaching the miserable stage. Sciatic pain is bad today. The underside of my belly hurts. SPD going strong. Eating like a hog and packing on the pounds.
Questions? Is it okay that I have a big bump on my arm where I got my tdap shot three days ago?

Also looking forward to trying the Ergo. I got it when DD2 was 18 months old and she hated it. Hoping to have better luck with this baby.

Any new preparations for baby? gearing up for the final shop/registry completion (2nd kid, so no shower).. making my final lists and gathering items for the hospital bag. I got a new pair of yoga pants and a pair of sweat pants for recovery.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: no cravings, super tired, swelling a bit more, no motivation to be active.
Questions? This is my second kid, but my first was whisked off to the nicu and stayed there for 2 weeks. What should I bring to the hospital to keep me entertained? I am not expecting a lot of visitors or any, just my husband and kiddo. I know nurses will be in and out, but.. other than nail clippers and a hair brush, what should I bring for the baby and/or my entertainment? I feel like I will have a lot of alone time... lol. Obviously, sleep.

What's new with baby? He's been moving around more and more each week, never dull moment! His brain in developing more and more and he's gaining more fat.
Appointments? Bi-weekly check-up tomorrow, he's been measuring big so checking his size again to see if we need to have a discussion concerning his size and delivery.
Any new preparations for baby? Bought the crib mattress, a cute bedding set, and all of the wall decorations over the weekend. Also ordered the dresser online so waiting for that to get here. Baby shower is this weekend (1/23) so we'll finish putting the room together hopefully on Sunday!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Been craving burgers and Mexican food like always.Cannot get enough guacamole and salsa lol. Still having heartburn (especially when I forget my once a day antacid). And still absolutely loving feeling him moving around in there, it's such an amazing feeling and always makes me smile.... even when he kicks my ribs lol.

What's new with baby? He always has the hiccups it feels like, usually when I'm laying down trying to sleep.

Any new preparations for baby? Painted the dresser for LO last night!! It's the most I've been able to do in our one bedroom, next on the list is getting the crib from my aunts work building and setting it up, then just washing and organizing and we'll be pretty much ready I think!! Just a couple more things to buy, shower was Sat and I was waiting till after that to buy too much.

What's new with baby? He's growing, adding fat, and moving around like a champ.
Appointments? Just had my growth u/s (measuring ahead) and 1 hour glucose test (passed!). I have a check up with the doctor on the 26th.
Any new preparations for baby? We painted the nursery, put together a dresser, hung curtains (though I still have to line them with black out material), and are working on some decorative lamps and curtain/tie-back finial craft projects. This weekend we are supposed to go get the other dresser, all of the frames for the artwork, a bookcase, and teeny tiny baby hangers...but it's also supposed to drop 18-24" of snow, so we shall see.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I've been having this weird crawling/creeping sensation in my lower back. It's really uncomfortable...almost feels like I need to crack my back and/or use the bathroom. I think it may be LOs butt, because he's face out and breech, but it's bugging the crap out of me.

They were great for swaddling, blankets, nursing covers, impromptu scarves for mama, tummy time mats in public places...everything. They are huge, but thing, so it's easy to throw one in a bag. They are my top recommendation.

Any new preparations for baby? We are all set! DS1 is in his new room and I was then able to bring up all his baby stuff and put it away in the nursery.

Our family of 5 is complete!! Love our boys!
I have found that it really helps support the belly and my lower back. However, I agree that they are uncomfortable to sit in, as they shift (this one less than the ones that just sit at the waist, though). So I wear it if I'm going to be up and around like for shopping or cooking all day. It's a lifesaver with the added benefit of being inexpensive.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I was really hoping this pregnancy wouldn't give me as bad heartburn and nausea. And it's officially worse. Really nothing helps, and I'm awake most of the night. Today was the first time that it never really subsided in the morning, so I've had it all day and haven't been able to recline/nap. I'm exhausted. Newborn sleepless nights are heaven compared to this!
Questions? What slings would you BTDTMs recommend? We have a Moby and are getting an Ergo. I don't know anything about slings, but I'm intrigued.

My favorite item from the first time was the Itzbeen timer. It particularly helped my husband feel a sense of control. We used it for way longer than we really needed to with our first, and we didn't bother with our second, but if you like a sense of order and keeping track of feelings, sleep patterns, etc, it was a nifty little thing. (There are probably more apps now though and you don't even need a physical timer! For all you whipper-snappers out there!

Nausea has come back in little waves. I've been having a lot of pelvic pain today, and I actually had trouble walking by the end of today. Insomnia is killing me.
Raves: my husband is turning out to be quite the decent labor coach. We will put that to the test here in about 8-9 weeks....
Questions? I'm sure this has already been asked, but I'll ask anyway- is it too early to start losing pieces of your mucus plug? Everyone says days to weeks before labor starts is when you'll lose it, but I'm just wondering if it's too early to be losing pieces of it. (31+4).

I think my favorite item from last time would be our baby carrier (Ergo) although I just bought a ring sling and I'm soooo excited to try it out! Oh my cloth diapers! So excited to put my little baby's butt in some fluff! My bum genius diapers (so far I've gotten 8 so far during sales for $10.50 each) and 8 fuzzi bunz that were a gift are so cute. I think it's hilarious but I'm most excited to change his little diapers!

What's new with baby? Baby is head down (well diagonally down for me- head by my left hip, feet under my right ribs). Baby's skin is now opaque.

Any new preparations for baby? DD transitioned into a twin bed fabulously! So we were able to move the crib into the nursery! Still narrowing down our name options.

I loved it because it was where I put my DD whenever I needed to set her down and it was easy to move from room to room. Like she would rock in it on the bathroom floor so I could shower or I'd put her in it when I was cooking or doing laundry. She loved it!

What's new with baby? Baby is 4.2-5.8 pounds! 17.2-18.7 inches long I am feeling kicks to the ribs, but hiccups way down in the pelvis. I bet this baby is on the longer side of that 18.7 inches thing lol.
Appointments? I have an injection appointment next week 1/26, and a growth ultrasound 1/27. My last injection is 2/5!!!
Any new preparations for baby? I had my baby shower on Monday- got TONS of clothes and blankets! I just have a few things left I need to get (diaper bag, bath tub, sheets, hats, mitts, nursing pillow, and a couple extra sets of pajamas- the only article of clothing I really didn't get). My parents brought over the crib and dresser, so now we have those set up and in the room. We also would like to get a new curtain rod and gray curtains to cover the closet up. The car seat is in the car (just not latched in yet). Next is just waiting for little man to poke his head out!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: My hip/pelvis pressure/pain/whatever you want to call it is killing me! I take a Tylenol at night just to get the pain to stop so I can sleep or get out of bed when needed. I've been up and down so much today since my bathroom keys (for work) have come up missing (and we have to let students in and out of the bathroom) that my pelvis is already sore. It may sound pathetic, but I wish I could just close my legs! I guess no more dresses for me

I guess the best one would have been the food net thing where you can put fruit in it and baby can suck on it. The newest thing I want to try out? I found the squeezy spoon thing that you load with baby food then you squeeze the food out of the handle and onto the spoon. That thing looks neat

Any new preparations for baby? I have been reading these posts for 6 months but long story short, I just decided this week to raise this girl myself. I have nothing ready! Literally...nothing. However, lots of supportive friends and family have offered clothes, car seats, a crib, etc. I have a room I'm turning into her nursery as soon as I get my head together. It doesn't help to be pregnant and absent-minded and distracted! I am overwhelmed with where to start!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: No real complaints--I've had a pretty easy time so far. No heartburn or excessive cramping. I have the occasional BH contractions but I actually think they're fascinating. oh and I crave chocolate every day of my life.

What's new with baby? Baby has since moved from diagonally down to vertically down, so yahoo! Baby is growing and putting on more fat and is supposedly listening more.
Appointments? I got off schedule by a week, so my OB okayed a 3 week delay since everything is progressing so well. This means next appointment is at 36 weeks on February 8th and this is the start of my weekly appointments. How did this happen so fast?
Any new preparations for baby? Had my first shower on Saturday and got a lot from my registry. I have another shower on the 30th. So after that shower I will get to buy the rest of the must-haves before LO comes.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Afternoon naps are becoming a necessity just like they were during the 1st trimester.
