Rants/Raves? Not much to rant/rave about today. Just happy it's Friday
Dr. Apt. Updates? Anxiously awaiting my appointment next Monday where we finally get our first ultrasound!
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? Meat lovers. All. The. Way.
Rants/Raves? Last weekend at my husbands office Christmas party, he won a gift card to a fancy Italian restaurant near us--and I am really looking forward to getting to use it soon. Other than that, the past week has bee pretty boring.
Dr. Apt. Updates? I have me A/S ultrasound and follow up next Tuesday.
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? Veggies, but no mushroom. Preferably from Donatos.

Rants/Raves? Irrationally worried this baby is going to be a holy terror. (See below) DD is a calm, sweet child. We always found the HB immediately. It's funny how completely different these pregnancies have been so far.
Dr. Apt. Updates? Just got out of a check up. Had trouble finding the HB, just like every time. But she finally found it (130s) for a few seconds before baby moved away again. Scheduled my anatomy scan for Feb 1!
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? Ooo. I've never turned down a pizza of any kind. But I am partial to Canadian bacon/pineapple/feta. And I love St Louis style with provel cheese.
Weeks? Size of baby? 20 weeks tomorrow / Banana or Chipotle burrito
Rants/Raves? Finally big enough to justify wearing maternity pants, but I still can't make myself put on the tops. Also, if one more person refers to my bump as "fat" I really will punch them.
Dr. Apt. Updates? We had an insurance issue so our anatomy scan got moved up to Monday! I can't wait to see baby again and hear that all is well in there!
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? Hand-tossed. Mushrooms and jalapeños ONLY!
Rants/Raves? Found a weird skin tag on myself this morning in the shower... lets just say its not in an area that is ideal. Pregnancy is so glamorous!
Dr. Apt. Updates? Waiting on my 16 week blood draw results & our next appt is our A/S on Feb 5th! My mother wants to come to that appointment so we invited my MIL as well - guess it will be a party!
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? Hmmmmm Right now I think it would have carmelized onions, goat cheese, and aged drizzled balsamic on it... now thats all I want for lunch!!

Rants/Raves? Rant: I thought I was over being tired after the 1st tri, but I am SOOO tired again. I feel like I could sleep all day. Rave: I already posted in the random thread, but we reserved a daycare spot this week and I feel relieved. I didn't realize how much it was stressing me out until I didn't have to think about it anymore. Now I can move onto figuring out what else to do to get ready for baby!
Dr. Apt. Updates? Waiting on results from the AFP test; Anatomy scan on Feb. 3 and it feels so far away!
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? We have a place in town that does delicious pizza by the slice. They have weird combinations but all are delicious (so I usually get something different). However, I think my favorites are the pesto with tortellini or one that has chicken, pico de gallo, cheese and tortilla chips. And now I know what is for dinner tonight!
Rants/Raves? Feeling good. Wish I was exercising more though...
Dr. Apt. Updates? We had the A/S on Wednesday! All looked good, but they couldn't get all the shots they needed. So, I will have another u/s at my 24 weeks appointment. And we are having another boy
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? I would love a thick puffy crust, lots of cheese, not too much sauce (but sauce with a kick), Canadian bacon, green peppers, pineapple, and mushrooms! Also, please give me garlic butter to dip my crust in...

Rants/Raves? Don't have any rants today. My rave is that SO's sister's family is in town. I didn't get to see them for Christmas so it's been a while since I have seen them. I am anxious to see his nieces, they are 4 & 1.
Dr. Apt. Updates? Doc appointment yesterday. The placenta has not grown as much as he would like to see. He said they can grow in spurts and we will need to come next week for a US of the placenta. I'm trying to worry and stay positive but it's hard. I have been here before and I'm scared.

Edit: I am listening to my husband throw up in the toilet. Great. We have a bug going through our house. Glad DS had it first and didn't have it bad.

We go on the 26th for our level 2 ultrasound and to Skype with high risk and Down syndrome specialists. Then we will meet with our Ob to discuss the results and counseling etc.
I'm terrified, but laying it all on God. I'm also a teeeeeeny bit excited that I'll get to see her little face in 3D... Not selfish right??
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like?
Original crust, extra cheese, mushrooms. Omg yum. Dipped in garlic sauce. Keep the nasty olives, onions, peppers, whatever away (I love all those ingredients but not on pizza). Bell peppers make the entire pizza taste like a bell pepper.

GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? I'm in NYC, so there's such a plethora. Really love a great Margharita from Juliana's coal fired pizza in Brooklyn. But back in my SD days, pineapple bacon from papa johns. I need it so bad! .... As soon as I'm eating solids.
17 weeks - an onion, a pomegranate, chipmunk, creme brûlée, or gaming controller (DH will be happy to have that context, lol)

Rant: I could not sleep last night...I was so uncomfortable. It's going to be a long day.
Rave: DH & I are going to Ikea today...he has NEVER been! After we're going to a family dinner at my parents & my mom is making all the things I've been wanting lately (prime rib, mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding, gravy...Mmmmm).

Mine is a rant/rave combo. We were supposed to go to the "Duck Races" today (it's a fundraiser for a local volunteer firefighter station in a surrounding small town where we get to race live ducks!) which is always a lot of fun with friends (usually lots of drinking and would have been for my friends). But it's feels like -7 here and only getting colder, so thankfully we decided not to go. Rant-it's freezing and I'm disappointed we're not racing ducks today. Rave- I was able to convince my friend it's way too cold and we now get to stay warm!

Finally got to hear a nice strong heartbeat yesterday- 147! And we're 11 days out from the big 20 week appointment!

Rants/Raves? Now that our Tay Sachs scare is officially over I have started buying stuff for baby, and the contractor (re-doing the nursery)just left. I am finally just happy & excited about this baby. I also feel like I'm now far enough along/showing enough to justify buying stuff for the baby and "really" feeling pregnant.
Dr. Apt. Updates? We see my OB Monday and then have our anatomy scan Feb 3rd. We're not finding out the sex, but I can't wait to see my LO again!
GTKY: What does your perfect pizza look like? Either plain (with ranch or honey mustard to dip) or a gourmet pizza with lots of cool ingredients. Totally depends on my mood!

Rants/Raves? I've never seen a 5+ inch onion but okay lol. Sometimes I don't get the size comparisons! My rant is that I just started my last semester of grad school and I don't want to do anything

So glad it's a 3 day weekend. H and I are going to visit my friend on Monday who had a baby last June, and I haven't met the baby yet, so that will be fun. And then we are having dinner with his parents.

A/S a week from Monday. We are not going to find out the sex that day, but have the tech write it down and I will give it to my friend who will make us a cake. AFP test came back normal from last week's appointment. Baby is doing well!
@hockeyfan42 that gives me hope this baby will be calm! He or she is always cooperative with the heartbeat and ultrasounds. My husband says the baby must take after him

Normal pizza I like cheese or pepperoni. But there is this gourmet pizza place in RI that makes a shrimp scampi pizza and it's so good, shrimp and garlic, no sauce or cheese.... now I want it!
Rants/Raves? Found out this week I'm having a little boy! I'm so excited and all I want to do is shop for the nursery. Which I'm doing today
Dr. Apt. Updates? I had my anatomy scan last Monday. Everything looked great. I didn't realize how worried I was about it until I got the email saying everything was fine and then I burst into tears.
