I asked this in the WTO thread on TTGP, but I feel like more women in this board get acupuncture than do over there.
What do you do when you're just laying there if you don't fall asleep? I was so relaxed, but didn't sleep and I kept having to try super hard not to let my mind run. Is there a mantra or meditation or something you do?

On an aside, next time around, I think I may skip the "my baby is an Appleseed" timelines and focus less on the baby's physical development and more trying to connect with the baby's spirit, if that makes sense.
I can't listen to music or an audiobook because I have points in my ears that prevent headphones, but my acupuncturist does play a lovely ocean sound in the background for me, and I just let my thoughts go. I'm crap at meditating, and I've found that just dazing off works for me. I'm actually too afraid to sleep because I roll around so much in my sleep that I'm afraid I'd roll onto some of the needles.
