Breast leaking

I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and my left breast is already leaking. I leaked through 3 layers and my bra. It was super oily, and left a huge spot. is this normal especially so early? If it is normal will it go away or should I prepare to experience this until I deliver? Thanks

This happened to me my first pregnancy around 22-23 weeks so I know I probably don't have much longer. Totally normal just sucks!!! But my milk production was great so maybe that's a good sign. And yes it last the rest of my pregnancy so be prepared.

I started leaking around 19 weeks with DD1, and around 17 weeks with DD2. I'm almost 18 weeks this time with no leakage yet. Both previous times, it continued until birth and I leaked until I stopped BFing. Stock up on breast pads.

Just as an FYI - breast milk totally stains. Boo. All my nursing clothes from the early days have stains... Second the suggestion for breast pads!

I had some leakage early on with my first pregnancy, and I second what @Lyette1206 said--breast milk definitely does leave spots, especially if it's colostrum or fatty hindmilk.

I'm a FTM and started leaking at 16 weeks. It hasn't stopped and it's only gotten a little worse. I invested in some breast pads. The last thing I want is to be at work or in public with a wet spot I won't notice until I get weird stares

Thank you ladies. Definitely investing in some bra pads. I guess I'll just wear them all the time just in case they decide to leak again. I am a teacher and don't want my shirts to be soaked again haha. I noticed how oily it is and how it does not come out of clothes

here's to the next 20 weeks or so

K please don't think I'm weird...and it totally could be your milk....BUT are you sure it wasn't the bra? Only reason I ask is because I had a push up Victoria's secret bra leak oil (or whatever they put in those little liquid packs in the push ups) all over my bra and shirt. I wasn't pregnant at the time and wasn't nursing, but I remember thinking it was insanely similar to breastmilk.

19 weeks on Monday! I got up to pee at 3am and noticed a perfectly round dry spot/stain over my boob to! Wtheck body not cool. Lol

FTM, 19 weeks. After getting out of the shower yesterday I noticed a kind of gummy white discharge on my nipples. I could be overthinking it (I had read this thread beforehand) but could that be the precursor that I might be leaking soon or is that normal on and off through pregnancy?

Not trying to hijack, just had a related question/experience.
