DH and Strip Clubs?

Would you be upset if DH went to a strip club for a guys night birthday party? One of DH friends is turning 30 and wants all of the guys to go to a strip club. I should mention all the guys are married or in a relationship.

No, I wouldn't be mad - I've actually encouraged it, but DH thinks strip clubs are disgusting. Weird, I know.

I'd only be upset if he spent all his time doing toonie slides (or maybe that's just a Canadian thing??) As long as it's not something he does ALL THE TIME and as long as he's not going in the back room for "extras", I wouldn't care too much in your situation. The amount of money spent would piss me off more.

It wouldn't be my first choice, but I'd be ok with it.

The best man in our wedding planned a strip club as part of DH's bachelor party. Against DH's better judgment (he feels uncomfortable at them), he went and he told me everything that happened. He would have been just as happy to have not gone and continued gambling (they were in Atlantic City).

We both have a problem with strip clubs. I wouldn't go to one and neither would he. It is a moral issue and our Christian faith doesn't agree with it. If Dh wants a stripper, he can pay me!

It wouldn't bother me anyway, but especially since all the guys are in a relationship or married. But, if it was something he wanted to do a lot I would not feel the same way... lol

My DH actually works at a strip club he's a floor manager there. We used to go together all the time. I look at it this way, TRUST is a huge thing. If you don't trust him to go then you should re-think why you are together. Like PP Its just a strip club not a whore house!

I would be more pissed about the $$$ spent, rather than the scenery. In my young & wild days, I accompanied the boys to quite a few gentleman's clubs. Let me say, the talent was WEAK and the scars were easily spotted. Free drinks for the token female-BONUS!

I forgot the worst part. BIL says that his preferred method of toonie sliding involves him laying on the stage with the coin in his mouth. I'll leave the rest to your imagination! LOL. If DH got that close and personal with a stripper, I would be pissed, and grossed out.

Unless the bar is non-alcoholic/full nude (of which there are some here in DFW; you have to BYOB and buy set-ups from the bar) I'm pretty sure that may be illegal in the US. That being said, having worked in a strip bar myself (so am I white trash, p4u81? You're a lovely representation of the Christian, forgiving faith. Rude.), I can't say what exactly happens in the VIP Lounge or certain dark corners.
