I had a successful u/s today (12w3d) and posted an announcement on Facebook!  It is so exciting to see everyone I know discover it.

Baby girl is doing well. She was already measuring a day ahead and now she is measuring ANOTHER day ahead. I got to hear her heartbeat for the first time, too. This is her first picture looking like an actual baby. You can see her little hand by her face. So cute.

I think I'm past the scary part. I won't have an u/s for another 8 weeks, but I think I can manage.


TTC#1 since Jan 2015
BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
BFP 8/29/15  •  CP (age 37)
BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

TTC#2 since May 2017
BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
BFP 2/16/18  •  CP (age 39)
BFP 4/13/18  •  CP (age 39)
BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks  •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    Congratulations, so awesome! The 12 to 20 week u/s wait was a hard one for me too, but it made me happy to have the doppler checks during my in-between appointments and hear the HB, so there's always that to look forward to.

    A good ultrasound at 12 weeks is so reassuring. I love that you can see her tiny fingers in the ultrasound.

    I'll have one appt between now and then. The nurse actually suggested that I get my own Doppler, but I'll wait and see if I have anxiety.

    Yay!! I'm so jealous, I can't wait to start announcing to people (I'm really struggling with keeping it a secret!). The pic is so precious. It seems more real when they start looking like actual little humans. So happy for you!!!

    Great news on the positive appointment and US☺. We still haven't announced except to my parents and two close friends... Waiting till I can't fit in my pants anymore. If I have two many more over cream moments like last night it shouldn't be long :)
