At 32 weeks, baby is big enough to put pressure on that area. However, that is also exactly where your gallbladder is. I've had pain in this spot for months now. Make sure you poop every day and keep drinking lots of fluids to keep the gallbladder from getting backed up. Sit up properly and try not to slouch since this puts extra pressure on that area. When I asked my doctor, she said not to worry about it. Good luck!
I've been experiencing an inconsistent pain on my left side right around the bottom of ribs. I'll be asking my doctor about it tomorrow at my appointment but I'm guessing it's just the baby smashing my lungs a bit. Hope you get it figured out though!

Same for me. My doctor just told me to basically suck it up, "there isn't really much we can do about it." I've read that some of the pain will subside after baby drops.
I've also had this since about 26 weeks. I was told the same thing, keep my bowels moving, sit up straight. I have started using belly support which has helped. Of course sitting aggravates and only laying down or standing helps. Ugh.
Spoke with my dr today and she confirmed that little man is just smashing my lungs on the left side and putting pressure on my ribs. She said stretching my arms above my head and arching my back a little bit will help some but otherwise just suck it up lol. Good thing these LO's are totally worth it
Just had the rib pain on the right side this week. Had a scheduled u/s and her butt was so far in my ribs they couldn't get a good image of it. She's since moved so hopefully yours will reposition soon.
Yeah it's not as bad still there but not as painful, has any one been having shooting pins down below ? And uncomfortable cramping ? I'm 33.1 today and just keep feeling uncomfortable around my lower abdomin and hip area
Baby girl has her foot firmly in the right ribs pretty much every day for a week. I poke her a bit to move her but she always goes back to it. My OB confirmed it-and she is pretty stubborn about moving around.
