Hi I'm new here and am in need of some peace of mind. I am 5w6d and my levels went from hcg at 981 and progesterone at 27.7. In 6 days It went to 3191hcg and 14.7progesterone. My OB said hcg should be at 7898 if it had doubled every couple of days. And wants to do more blood tests and a Sono, she also gave me 100mg of progesterone to take 3 times a day orally. My concern is, I have had one healthy pregnancy with no complications with a c-section, then 2 years later we got pregnant in May but my progesterone dropped, even on supplements and we lost the baby in June. I am terrified these levels mean we are going to lose this baby as well. I had to practically beg for the supplements and sono. Do these levels mean I will lose the baby? Is there any hope? After my 1st natural Mc they did an ultrasound and everything looked great and normal for us to go ahead and try again for this baby. It took 6 months, and I just don't understand what's wrong. My levels were 35hcg and 27.8 the first time they tested. Then 2 days later it was 93hcg and 27.2 progesterone, then it was 981hcg and 27.7progesterone, and now 6 days later... it's 3197hcg with a progesterone of 14.7. What does this mean? Should I prepare myself for the worst? Or is it really too early to tell? Are these levels okay? Please help this scared mommy!

I know it's hard to do... 2 losses myself... but just take care of you and focus on the next milestones. You can do it
The good news in all of this is that your previous miscarriage (I'm very sorry for your loss) doesn't doom you either. Even in the same individual viability outcomes vary & run case by case basis.
I'm hoping for you & your little bean.
