Lightning Crotch? Or rather Lightning Thigh?

This is new and exiting. Last night I was walking around and starting getting shooting pains down the insides of both thighs. I actually had to catch myself on a chair (and scared the shit out of my husband). Thinking it's more baby laying on a nerve type of thing, but what exactly is it? Would this be considered "lightning crotch"? Or more of a sciatic type of deal? It's not very pleasant.

    I had this but only on one thigh (groin). Pain was crippling but would only last for a second each time - but would totally catch me off guard.

    I had this a couple nights ago. I couldn't even walk the pain was so bad. DH had to help me to bed. It was better by morning. I don't know what it was, but I hope it doesn't come back!

    I get this periodically too! Mostly on my right side which is where baby likes to hang out. It literally makes me gasp sometimes and scares my coworkers lol hopefully it means this little one is down further than I think!!

    Yes the doctor told me it's the baby hitting a nerve. I get it allllllll the time in the same exact spot on the outside of my vagina. It hurts so bad!!!

    Pretty sure it's a nerve thing. I get it sometimes on its own, usually connected to lightning crotch though, it will go down and spread out to one or both thighs. Not fun!
