How are you feeling? Pretty good. First tri is being good to me so far.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: DH and I decided to book a last-minute trip to Vegas and we leave in less than 2 weeks! We are only going for two nights but we had the airline miles and we got an awesome deal on the hotel. I can't wait to eat the amazing food. This is my last "hurrah" before I inevitably get GD again (they test me at 12 weeks).

We we will probably go to a nice date/dinner and open the envelope together. And then we usually do a dinner out with immediate family and a couple friends to do a fun reveal for them.

How are you feeling? Overall pretty good, just tired. Bouts of nausea/cramping, nothing terrible
Doing anything baby related today? I peed on yet another pregnancy test this morning.. not quite sure why. Was happy to see still Pregnant 3+ weeks, now just waiting until my appointment next week and hopefully scheduling a dating U/S to set my mind at ease.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I really don't want to be at work, but my MIL is at home and I really don't want to be there either! Ugh

How are you feeling? I've had a headache since yesterday. Finally bought some Tylenol on lunch but hesitating to take it. Had horrible nausea all day yesterday...small bouts today but my handy sleeve of saltines is helping to keep it at bay. Take two every hour and the nausea subsides.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Exhausted almost all the time, then super hungry, then not hungry at all. Very occasional nausea. Gassy. But all in all, pretty good!
Doing anything baby related today? I POAS just because it's fun to see the line turn dark the second pee hits it.

I wanted to be team green last time, but DH found out and then spilled the beans to me 24 hours later. Haha. We'll find out together this time. I want the tech to write down the sex at the anatomy scan and then we can open the envelope together later. We'll tell our families via Skype and then maybe do a FB announcement.
How are you feeling? Meh again today. I'm not as nauseous as I was over the weekend. I'm glad for a non-nauseous day. I just have to stick to my plan of eating something about every 2 hours and I'm good. I hope.

I have no idea whether we will be Team Green or not. We'll have to discuss this later. If we do decide not to find out, we'll just wait until delivery then everyone can find out together. I have no idea if the family will give us a hard time or not. Geesh. Talk about a non-answer.

How are you feeling? Better now that I busted out my SeaBands (thanks to the OP who started that thread for reminding me that I had them!) But now I think I've come down with a cold instead. Hopefully it's mild and works it's way through my system quickly!

Raves/Rants/Randoms: We bought our 'forever' house about 9 months ago. It was move-in ready but is extremely outdated and very heavily lived in so we are remodeling/touching up room by room. Sometimes I wonder what we got ourselves into. DH LOVES the house and doesn't question our decision one bit so I feel guilty doing so...but I think about all the time we spend on the house every weekend as time where we could be having quality time with DD as a family...especially as we approach becoming a family of four. I guess I'm just hoping for things to slow down a little bit so we can just enjoy 'today' once in a while.
Questions? Does anyone know how early in pregnancy regular pelvic ultrasounds (versus trans-vaginal) can begin? I have my u/s on Wed and will be just shy of 8 weeks, according to LMP and O. I assume it'll still be trans-vaginal but not sure...
GTKY: For the Team Green ladies: Do you think people will give you a hard time about not finding out? I had some people give me hard time when we were team green with DD but it was really no big deal. Since then, my sister had a baby and is now pregnant with baby #2, both times team green. So I think my family is used to it. And, tbh, when I think back to my pregnancy with DD, for every person who gave me a hard time about not finding out, I can think of several who thought it was great. (I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Well, back in my day, there was no such thing as finding out...") Each to their own, of course, but I was happy I had a lot of positive reactions and very, very few negative ones.
How are you feeling? unmotivated! the nausea and exhaustion have made it hard to do anything but lay around but I keep trying to check things off my to do list and taking short walks

I told my parents and brother. This will be the first grandkid. Mom was soo excited and screamed for a while. Dad didn't react much. My mom kept saying "I'm a grandma!" This made me a little uncomfortable and I said not yet but see said yes it does

Back to my mom, it's just so early and so much can happen I really don't like her calling herself a grandmother yet. TTGP used it way more than PG and I just got used to it). I was going to wait till 20 weeks to buy anything. She also said no vacuuming or sweeping. We will likely find out during the ultrasound. I want to do a fun reveal party but being out of town not sure about that. Most of my friends here are not family minded and I had told them I was going to a gender reveal party and none knew what it was and guessed it was for a person changing their gender.

We'll find out the sex together. There's a facility in the cities, Enlightened 4D Imaging and Photography, that we went to with DS when I was 14 weeks. We'll do that again and find out as the tech does the u/s. We had a DQ ice cream cake reveal party with DS, but this time I'll probably make up a graphic/photo to announce the sex to friends and family on fb. Fx for XY!

Doing anything baby related today? Because my LMP was 30 days before O day, I had my first appointment today. The receptionist didn't believe me when I told her I was 2 weeks behind what she thought I was. We saw and heard our little bean's heartbeat. It was so incredible. My favorite part was seeing my husband's face of pure happiness.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: we went to babies r us at the request of DH. Why is it so overwhelming?!? So many things and options.
Questions? I need to include more veggies in my diet but more so than usual, my body wants nothing to do with them. Any suggestions on sneaking them in. Maybe smoothie recipes?

How are you feeling? Not having a great day... I feel normal physically (aside from wanting to eat everything in my path). I've been having a little spotting since Saturday, and it has me freaked out. I know it can mean nothing, but waiting for my appointment this Thursday is torturous. I keep trying to focus on feeling good, and I haven't had any cramping or bleeding, so that's got to be a good sign.

Feeling? I'm feeling pretty run down. I caught the virus that my girls had and it's kicking my butt. If I could, I'd lay in bed all day.

Rants/Raves/Randoms: There is some sort of problem with one of the sewers on our block. One of the workers just came to knock on my door to say that they were going to be shutting off the water soon to do a repair. Thankfully, I just finished the last load of laundry.
Questions: For those who have had multiple pregnancies and have a boy and a girl, did you notice different symptoms with the pregnancies?
GTKY? I think we are going to do Team Green. This is likely our last and I'd like to experience that moment of surprise just once. I'm sure my sisters will say, "Come on! Tell us!" But not in a serious way, just in an annoying younger sister way.

- some nausea, gassy, peeing a ton, tender breasts, some fatigue and cold all of the time. Most days I'm good and I'm finally able to be excited about Baby 'Bit, but some days I'm terrified of losing this pregnancy and I cry.
Doing anything baby related today?
- DH and I set up a kind of baby focused pampering schedule today - where we talked about things we'd like to do for baby before he/she is born. Like every morning and evening he will kiss my belly and we talk to the baby... etc. We know it's too early for baby to hear, but it helps us feel more real about everything.

- I am SO SICK of studying right now! I should be studying microbiology but I'm slacking right now.

- DH and I can both read the u/s so we are going to do that when we go for the anatomy scan. We aren't telling anyone else, though, we will keep it between us until the baby is born.
ETA: Even though I'm not Team Green, we aren't telling anyone in our family that we found out, either, and I just KNOW my MIL is going to make my life miserable because of what she did with our last pregnancy - she was already buying gifts at 6 weeks! Hence why she doesn't know. I fully expect her to be sending gifts once we tell her about this pregnancy.

-We totally want to find out! This is my SO's 3rd baby, he has 2 boys, he really wants a girl. This is my family's first grandbaby, so EVERYONE will want to know. I will have them put the gender in an envelope so i care share it with my SO, he's an OTR Driver so he wont be there for my appointment and i want to share that moment with him. I have no idea how i'll tell my family, probably just tell them, no party or anything.
How are you feeling? I have been really lucky with pregnancy symptoms so far. No nausea, just tired. However, this afternoon I suddenly got a really bad sore throat! It hurts to talk, eat, and even swallow. Ugh!

I will be team green but dh will be finding out because we made a deal and I trust him to keep it secret. I've never wanted to know with my first. I want that moment when the baby is born but he wants to know. So he gets to know but he gets to tell no one!
How are you feeling? Very queasy, threw up this morning... very tired and feeling lucky to have the day off to take a nap in the afternoon.
Doing anything baby related today? Today was our first appointment and scan. Feels like we have been waiting forever for this day. So excited to report that everything went well.. we heard the heartbeat loud and clear. I'm so relieved to get over this first hurdle.

No. 6 other nurses on my floor have have babies in the last year and about half of them were team green. Everyone enjoyed guessing. My parents, DH's parents, and my brother/SIL were all team green with their babies so we'll fit right in.

@marikkita12 My body doesn't want veggies either, or fruit for that matter. Smoothies are really good for hiding a ton of spinach and/or kale as long as you have enough sweet ingredients, like strawberries or pineapple or a flavored yogurt. They turn out an ugly shade of brown but you could put them in an opaque cup if your pregnancy brain is grossed out by the color!

GTKY: If you are not Team Green, are you planning anything fun for finding out the sex of the baby (or babies)? Reveal with family/friends? Just DH/SO? ETA: For the Team Green ladies: Do you think people will give you a hard time about not finding out? DH, myself and our parents will find out around 16 weeks at an elective ultrasound. We will do a cute reveal picture to send to our family, friends and eventually facebook.
Feeling good just a bit tired
Baby related is taking care of my other babies that are 6,3,3 and 2...
Random..my son asked Santa for a baby brother and I laughed at him but looks like he got his wish..we got pregnant right around Christmas day
We will find out-praying for team blue, I like to shop for clothes and things throughout at Mom to Mom sales
We will probably tell people if they ask or we might keep it a secret from everyone except my inlaws, my son will tell them and he is going with us to find out.
How are you feeling? Still pretty nauseous. More today than the past couple of days. I'm also way too tired, it's like 7 hours of sleep are not nearly enough and I end up almost falling asleep in different places lol.

On another note, I managed to almost forget that I'm pregnant this weekend, except when I was reminded by nausea or by things I can't do/eat. This was really good for me as I wasn't constantly obsessing and it made the time pass quicker. Yay!

It's sweet that your mother left clothes and whatnot for you, I'm assuming you told her? My family doesn't buy anything until after the baby is born, it's kind of a tradition. My MIL sent baby gifts last time, but there's an unpleasant tale behind that.
We started purchasing for baby #1 around the 20 week ultrasound, might have ordered nursery furniture closer to 14 weeks, can't quite remember

I haven't planned anything yet. But both DH and I want to know the sex of our baby. I would like to do a little reveal for him but I'm not sure if he would be OK with me finding out first. With my first pregnancy we did the cupcakes with my entire family, with only one cupcake being filled with blue icing. It was a lot of fun. I'm not sure what I plan to do with DH, if he will let me/want me to do a reveal for him.
