Raves/Rants/Randoms: It's freezing today! So happy that my DH got up early and snowblowed our driveway. I don't think with the snow I would've gotten out otherwise. Considering how much he hates getting up early, I'm hardcore raving on him today.
Questions? 1) *TMI* Does anyone else constantly look at the TP when they go pee? I swear it's now instinctual! 2) Anyone else still taking tests even after getting BFP? I haven't had an appt yet so I feel like every few days/week I need that extra reassurance.....or am I just crazy?
GTKY: Are your dreams vivid or are you not having any yet? What's the strangest dream you've had so far? I have crazy vivid dreams every night! First one that showed up was steamy and involved DH (when I told him he was very happy my dreams still involved him, lol). Last nights involved the Kardashians and some SVU type stuff. Very weird.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I have moments of "oh man, here it comes the morning sickness." And then a minute later it's gone. So I can't complain.
Doing anything baby related today? Probably not. Besides mindlessly brainstorming announcement photos.

@LakeR2014 I do check the TP - it is now an instinct. I have, however, graduated from POAS. I'm out of sticks and won't buy more. At this point it would still be positive if I MC'd anyway and peeing on it won't help me.

- vivid as hell. My strangest was when I was hanging out with my lifting partner, she and I were walking past a harbor (we live in the desert) and saw a cruise ship. We bought tickets and got on! But we had to say we had scoliosis just to get them? It was so weird. Our berthing was epic with huge beds and pacman arcade games. The lower decks were flooding, though and I got nervous. That woke me. The boat looked like the Titanic, which I swear I haven't watched in forever.

Ok. Still having spotting, although perhaps it seems to be tapering off. Hard to tell. This morning I was STARVING when I woke up. I ate some cereal with banana right away, and now I feel like puking. The peeing thing is real. I must have gone 15 times yesterday!

My dreams have been pretty crazy this past week or two. I don't usually remember them, but almost every morning I wake up and think to myself, WTAF was that about?!

-feeling blah. My appetite is so off that it takes me all morning to make breakfast on the weekends. Nothing sounds good. And when I do decide on something, I end up changing my mind on eating it. I've been drinking a lot of juice.

-thinking about what clothes I'll be needing in a few weeks. I'm still heavier than this time with DS. I just hope I saved my favorite maternity jeans.

-cutting gluten is quite difficult for me right now. DF wanted hoagies Sat afternoon so I got a tuna hoagie. My belly was and still is bloated. He poked me on Sunday saying I can't believe you're showing already! Last night I wanted to make dinner fun so DS and I made mini pizzas on English muffins. I had halves. Bad idea bc then I felt so much more bloated.

-Last night I had a terribly vivid dream that I woke up disturbed. I forgot about the vivid dreams part of pregnancy.
How are you feeling? Same as I have been - super tired, a little nauseous here and there - mostly when hungry. Otherwise a little crampy, which I can't seem to remember from last time

Raves/Rants/Randoms: My MIL will be gone by the time I get home from work.. RAAAAVE. A coworker promised to bring me some frozen chocolate/peanut butter pie then forgot.. RAAAAANT. I've got nothing random.
Questions? Nada. But @LakeR2014 - I check the TP every time.. and with the increased discharge I find myself hurrying to the bathroom sure it'll be bad news, and it's not. The paranoia is real

My pregnancy dreams (last time and this time so far) are incredibly vivid - sometimes steamy, sometimes straight up weird. Weirdest one so far this time around was a bunch of my friends and I were hanging out in a room with an empty pool in it, and we had to bring a cable box with us to be allowed in but no one knew why... eventually my best friend turned into a snake and I had to stab her using her own tail before she killed us all. While leaving other people came in pretending to be from the cable company, and they didn't questions us because we still had our cable box. It's very odd - but my pregnancy dreams always have something incredibly random in them, then somehow come full circle right before I wake up.
I swear I'm not nearly as weird as my dreams.

How are you feeling? My boobs are super sore, so sore I slept in a bra which I find very annoying but better to be annoyed than in pain. Still feel a little bit cramp-y, it stays mild for 85% of the time and gets a bit worse the rest. I felt a bit light headed and nauseous this morning. I have pretty good motion sickness and nausea for me happens here and there normally, I wonder if this means I'm going to have severe morning sickness, hope not....

It's the first night I've had to be up since getting pregnant and it's kicking my butt. Not only am j tired but my nausea was way harder to control this morning. I skipped brushing my teeth because I just a couldn't face it

Not really. Going to the midwife on Thursday DJ I have s lot of questions for her about what I can take for my symptoms. I'm feeling much worse this time around.

I haven't had any weird dreams and didn't last time either. I guess eventually I'll probably have a dream about the baby but they're not any more vivid than normal.

@618mom22boys - ugh that sounds super annoying about your MIL messaging you names. I'm so not looking forward to that part with my inlaws. They are very pushy and once they get "stuck" on an idea they will push and push and push it on you. They make it sound as nice as possible, but won't stop.

How are you feeling? Same ol' classic morning sickness every day. Some days are better than others, but today is bad. Usually if I eat breakfast I feel better, but this morning I couldn't keep it down.
Doing anything baby related today? I really want to go shopping for maternity clothes because DD is at moms day out today, but I don't have the energy. Right now I'm just laying in bed trying to keep crackers down.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: auditions were so much fun. I think we gave a great cast put together. Theater makes me feel alive and creative again, which is good since the morning sickness has made me feel like half a human lately.
Questions? Does anyone else feel like their DH is getting tired of hearing about their symptoms/nausea? Like it's starting to get old? It could just be me feeling guilty for not being able to get things done, but lately every time I talk about how bad I feel DH has to come back with "yeah, I feel tired/weird/crappy too." Really, dude? Really??
Also, is anyone else going through a dry spell since they got KU? I have the desire, but not the energy and surprisingly DH hasn't even asked for it in weeks. I can't tell if he's just being respectful or if pregnancy is a turnoff. We went through this with DD too.

I've noticed that I'm having more dreams than usual since I normally don't have dreams (or I don't remember them). In previous pregnancies I would have vivid, scary dreams. They would always involve one of my family members getting hurt or dying. They were awful. I'm glad I haven't had any of those yet!

I couldn't find the court I was playing on and it was driving me nuts. They also had this huge play area for my DD. It was random but I do play tennis tonight so maybe that's why it was in my head.

My boobs are killing me! DH tried to hug me last night and I screamed! And for over a week now I have had severe nasal congestion which it turns out is pregnancy related. I can’t breathe or taste anything. I finally got the okay to take Sudafed which I hope will help! Every time I eat, I become extremely bloated – like I like 6 months pregnant bloated. I am very happy to be pregnant despite all of this though!

Rant-ish/Rave: I had my first appointment yesterday. Turns out the first visit is really just a standard gynelogical exam but with a pregnancy test. I am scheduled to go back in 3 weeks and hopefully we can hear the heart beat by then. I was very disappointed because I thought they would do more but my experience overall was very positive and I really like my nurse practitioner.
RANT: My DH was supposed to meet me at the office yesterday for my appointment but his truck broke down on the way so he wasn’t able to. This is the second time it has broken down in the last 2 months – if you own a 2008-ish Ford F-150 you know what I am talking about (dumb spark plugs). And now we need to buy a new car – I know we needed to eventually but I really want to save money for my maternity leave and that doesn’t seem like it will happen. We already have my 12 year old stepdaughter who is constantly having friends over so we want to upgrade to a 3 row vehicle but they are all so expensive!!! I honestly don’t know where this money is going to come from as we haven’t had a car payment in over a year. I am freaking out about finances!!!
Random: I really want to tell people we are expecting but DH wants to tell my stepdaughter first which means we have to wait. I totally get why he wants to tell her first, I do too but I really want to talk to my Mom about everything. My Mom and I have a very honest relationship so it is hard to keep a secret from her. And I know she will be ecstatic when she finds out, so will the in-laws. My step daughter is their youngest grandchild so they want a baby badly. And in my family my Mom already has 3 grand kids BUT my sister relies on my Mom a lot to help with both of her daughters (3yrs and 9 months) and my crazy SIL keeps my nephew (3 yrs) from us unless it is a special occasion (now her I can rant about forever but I digress). My child will be my Mom’s first normal grandchild-grandparent relationship. I don’t need her constant help like my sister but I also won’t ever keep her from seeing her grandchild.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: I got to hang out with a bunch of girl friends yesterday with our kids and DD did so well with the babies. I think she's gonna be a great big sister (fingers crossed).
Questions? When is the first trimester screening window? My doctor refers us to a separate office for the tests and I am not sure if I should ask the nurse at my next appt-7w3d- or wait until I'm 11+ weeks to ask about it. I waited almost too long with DD to get the tests bc I didn't realize my doctor doesn't do them (or talk about them barely, but that's a whole other issue) so I want to make sure to be proactive this time.

I know I've been having really vivid dreams, I just usually can't remember them for more than a few minutes after I wake up. Sweeping historical sagas mixed with alien planet exploration stuff. They've been freaking me out for sure, they seem sooo long.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: Had an ultrasound yesterday to rule out an ectopic. Everything looks good. Baby is in my uterus and measuring right on track, so things are starting to feel more real. They also ordered another ultrasound for next Friday, which surprised me, but I'm looking forward to seeing the heart beat.

I normally have very vivid dreams, but haven't remembered any dreams lately. Probably because DD has been waking me up in the middle of the night and/or getting up at 5:30 ready for the day. She's always been such a great sleeper, until now.

@TheTamedShrew - I don't think DH really gets it. I had to explain to him how it's not just "regular tiredness" and something of a different beast entirely and him trying to compare his tiredness after a voluntary all-nighter with the boys to how I feel all freaking day even after a solid night's sleep is insensitive to what I'm going through.
@JasonKristen - I'm going in to the Dr. tomorrow at 6w 2d and I don't think I'll get an ultrasound or doppler or anything until 12 weeks. It's really just to confirm the pregnancy via POAS and talk to a nurse about what I should/shouldn't do during pregnancy. It's kind of annoying that I have to go in (and pay for) this visit when nothing really comes out of it, but it's part of my clinic's prenatal care requirements.
How are you feeling? Physically - I feel fine. Exhausted but overall fine. None of my symptoms are too strong or difficult to deal with. Emotionally is a whole nother beast. I'm fine one second, and the next I have to remind myself to not get too attached quite yet.

Raves/Rants/Randoms: I had to miss a wine and cheese party with my friends last night and pretended to be sick. It's a small gathering with my super-close girlfriends so, there was no way I could go and not drink and keep the pregnancy a secret. I'm not ready for them or the world to know yet so skipping was really the only solution. I was pretty bummed out about it!

How are you feeling? Pretty good. No symptoms. Just trying to get over these seasonal allergies that hit over the weekend.
Doing anything baby related today? Stalking USPS for the NB onesie I ordered (part of my reveal plans).
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I've continued to google the random dull ache on my right side, but I feel like it's subsiding; as in, less aches at less times. My last pregnancy I didn't have symptoms until about 6 weeks so I will probably buy some dollar store tests and POAS every week until the 1st tri symptoms get here.

I remember being at a table of moms talking and one said they leave their baby at home alone so her and her husband can have date night. She said it was safe because the kid is a good sleeper. Then I had a dream I was trying to open my attic door in my garage, but it was the wrong door. I woke up during a dream- red-haired chubby lady was yelling at me thinking I said something about her weight. I was like "what? No! I would never!!" Thank goodness for my alarm!

Doing anything baby related today? Took paperwork to the RE for FMLA this morning. For some reason my manager thought I should go ahead and get the process started but I haven't missed work and unless the ms gets extremely bad I probably won't until Pez arrives.

I haven't had any yet with this baby but before my first loss I had this super vivid dream that one of my dogs pooped in our bedroom. The weird part was that in the dream I could tell by the smell of her poop that my baby was a girl. I couldn't tell you why or describe the smell but I was certain it meant a girl baby. I could still smell the poop when I woke up but upon searching the room no poop was to be found.
How are you feeling? I was feeling like garbage this morning but better now. I still have this cold virus, I woke up with a headache (thankfully it's gone now) and I had a bit of nausea which I actually don't mind because I'm hoping it's a good sign.

@Megz1902 When I was pregnant with my first I had the Mayo Clinic's Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy. It was very informative.
GTKY: Yes, I have been for a couple weeks now. Last night I had a crazy dream (I can't remember exactly what), but I woke up with my heart pounding at 4 am. The dream definitely scared me.

How are you feeling?
-feeling decent right now, this morning was a little rough. nasal drainage had me gagging so bad, took about 15 minutes standing there deciding if i was going to puke or not. FUN. Was super tired this AM, smoke detector went off @ 0455am for NO reason, awesome!!

-Funny that you post this today, i had a really funny dream last night!! I dreamt i was at Dunkin Donuts. I was waiting in line for my order to be taken, they were short staffed in there (go fig). Well it finally came time to take orders again and they started taking the order of a couple behind me. I walked over and was like "excuse me! I was here in line waiting before they came in" and the guy behind the counter apologized and said "what can i get for you ma'am?" I told him what i wanted and they started to get it together. They took forever to get the food to me, and the only reason i didnt get pissed and leave the place was the fact that i wanted some of their hashbrowns sooo bad. The guy finally brought my food over and was apologizing profusely. I said "no problem its really busy in here." Then i woke up lol.
-The night before the BF and i were watching Making a Murderer before bed and my body kept trying to have the same scary dream, something about chasing and killing when i was sleeping. fun.

How are you feeling? Absolutely exhausted. Other than that, alright.
Doing anything baby related today? Taking all the naps. Was also considering making a rough list of things I might put on our registry. Where are you guys thinking of registering, or where have you registered in the past?
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I drove an hour to my parents house this morning for my dad to put my snow tires on. The tires were in my garage, back at my house.

GTKY: Are your dreams vivid or are you not having any yet? What's the strangest dream you've had so far? I have always had vivid dreams, so these are nothing new. Maybe just a little more twisted than usual.
My MIL compares EVERYTHING my son does to my husband. My son looks an awful lot like my husband and I think his family forgets that he is 1/2 my genes as well - and that I pushed him out of my hoo-ha!!! It drives me absolutely insane. I just want my kid to be his own person, we don't need to compare every milestone to my husband in terms of when he got hair, teeth, crawled, walked, etc... because of COURSE in my MIL's eyes my husband was, and will always be, the absolute best baby. Ugh.
Just got back home from the doctor and I was diagnosed with strep throat. So far my whole house has except for my 2 year old. I'm trying my best to Lysol the house and wear the face mask so she doesn't get it. It's very contagious so I'm scared for her.
Nothing baby related. Been so sick haven't had time to think much about baby. I can't wait to feel better.
Vivid dreams every night but most I don't remember.
How are you feeling? Today I feel pretty well, pretty much just breast tenderness. Exhausted is tapering! Yesterday and the day before food was really unappealing and I was nauseous/dizzy all day even when I was eating
Doing anything baby related today? Nope! Cannot wait for my U/S on the 28th. Time is just-a-draggin

How are you feeling? Cold. So cold. And a bit nauseous.
Doing anything baby related today? I broke down and bought a pair of maternity pants. Just one pair of dress pants in black. All of my work pants are tight due to bloat. So just one pair should get me through interviews and a job fair.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: My interview today went great! I am super excited about the job opportunity and I think I did great during my interview. Now just comes the wait.

Super vivid and super scary. I'm not appreciating them. I dreamt I was waking up soaked in blood and lost the baby. Another one had to do with a mauling. Can I have some regular dreams please?
